GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The WTI Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) oversees and performs the safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI field service business. Safety is our primary priority and will be embedded into every discussion, meeting, and project. As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the Foreman is focused on safety, crew management, and efficient execution of all WTI projects assigned within their respective region. It is the Foreman's responsibility to deliver timely service to all WTI customers and manage exposure to risks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct the daily onsite safety brief before the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer, and the WTI crew. Inspect and ensure all surroundings, equipment, and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns. Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit it to the Supervisors as applicable. The foreman also ensures that all technicians complete the Daily Hazard Analysis. Ensure all project communication is completed before the start of any WTI project. This includes but is not limited to communication with: WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) daily and before starting new projects (ensure any/all communication with the Sales Reps is also shared with the Supervisor. Sales Rep weekly and/or as needed and before new projects. WTI crew members to discuss the scope of work, daily tasks, and the overall schedule. Customer/Client (as needed or required by the Sales Rep) daily and/or weekly. Efficient management of projects will include managing the crew's start and end times, daily productivity (hours, man-days, etc.), and ensuring tools and materials are available to complete the assigned project safely and efficiently. Complete the project per the approved scope of work or specification and after issuance by the Supervisor. Using a designated company-mandated reporting tool, the Foreman will complete an end-of-day and/or end-of-project walk-through to ensure the quality of workmanship and address any punch list items before leaving the job site. These items will include updates on work performed, materials consumed (T&M projects), and supplies purchased. Ensure all WTI Field Resources Reps (Field Reps) have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer. Responsible for ordering, tracking, and monitoring inventory and ensuring quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted timely. Provide pricing for self-performing projects over $12,500. Submit all proposals over $20,000 to the Supervisor for review and approval before submitting them to the GS Administrator for logging and distribution to the Sales Rep. Monitor and manage the Field Reps. Consult with the Supervisor to take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee work-related issues and necessary documentation.
