As a Heavy Vehicle Technician Apprentice, you'll learn how to inspect, service and repair HGVs and other large commercial vehicles. Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician.
No two days are the same. From routine servicing to diagnosing faults using the latest technology, you'll gain hands-on experience while earning a wage and working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification.
What you'll be doing:
Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll learn how to:
Carry out routine servicing and safety inspections
Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment
Repair and replace mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components
