GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Chemical Process Engineer is responsible for ensuring safety, maintaining product quality, and enhancing process efficiency in a chemical production environment. Additionally, this role emphasizes promoting a LEAN culture and requires active involvement in on-floor operations as well as spearheading significant projects related to process equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategize and innovate safety management, resolving high-level issues in collaboration with shift supervisors.
Lead comprehensive Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and Job Safety Analyses (JSA).
Identify, analyze, and spearhead initiatives to mitigate complex safety concerns.
Expertly manage DAKOTA software for comprehensive compliance, incident reporting, and safety management.
Champion the development and implementation of \"standard work\" practices, leading the LEAN culture.
Oversee Engineering Tier activities and accountability boards, and lead daily GEMBA Walks for advanced education and communication.
Drive productivity improvement by strategically eliminating non-value-added activities using advanced engineering principles.
Ensure equipment efficiency at the highest levels, participate in the facility Quality Improvement Council (QIC), and provide expert quality training to operators.
Lead and ensure the successful completion of high-impact process equipment projects.
Act as a key member of the facility's Quality Improvement Council (QIC), leading initiatives to identify root causes and prevent future customer complaints.
Manage large-scale projects with substantial budgets.
Serve as a senior mentor to less experienced engineers, guiding them in complex projects and career development.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: 4-year degree in engineering.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 7+ years of experience.

Main Purpose of the Role: As a Caretaker, your primary responsibility will be to deliver a high-quality caretaking service to residents, ensuring that estates are clean, tidy, and safe. Your commitment to customer focus will be paramount in all your interactions.
Key Accountabilities:
Inspect and clean all communal areas to agreed specifications, including sweeping, mopping, external litter picking, leaf clearance, and bin area maintenance.
Conduct health and safety checks of communal areas, promptly reporting any issues such as bulk rubbish, graffiti, or abandoned vehicles.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and legislation, adhering to risk assessments and safe working practices.
Grit estate access paths and roads during snow/ice conditions.
Monitor internal and external services provided on the estate.
Safely store equipment and chemicals in line with COSHH regulations and health and safety guidelines.
Record all work through the Estate Services Monitoring system, reporting repairs and Anti-Social Behaviour issues as necessary.
Interact with residents courteously and respectfully, providing assistance as needed.
If provided with a company van, maintain its cleanliness, complete relevant inspections, and report any accidents or damage appropriately.
Undertake any additional duties as required by the team leader/operations manager.
Experience and Pre-Qualification Criteria:Essential:
Good standard of general education.
Demonstrated ability to provide a customer-focused service.
Proficiency in using hand-held computer devices.
Desirable:
Awareness of manual handling and workplace health and safety.
Knowledge of COSHH Regulations and BICSs.
Previous experience in cleaning or caretaking roles.
Hold a full valid manual UK driving license.

Early Years Practitioner needed with Slough Borough Council

Contract length – Initially 3 months
Hours per week – 30 hours
Rate of pay - £16.75ltd per hour
About the Role
The Early Years Practitioner will be responsible for contributing as an experienced practitioner to all aspects of the daily operation of the setting. This includes implementation of operational plans and procedures, delivery of curriculum and educational programmes, catering, health and safety procedures, including safeguarding, cleaning routines, and administration of children's records.
Key Responsibilities
Provide full care and supervision for the children, ensuring that all their needs are met.
Work in close partnership with staff from local primary schools to provide fully integrated care and education and smooth transition from one phase to the next.
Ensure that the setting's resources are used cost-effectively.
Promote high standards of behaviour and discipline and uphold and promote the setting's policies on equalities and inclusion.
Implement all other of the setting's policies and procedures, ensuring that the OFSTED standards are met and records are kept as required.
Help promote the setting with parents, local schools, other early years settings, and the local community and assist with marketing activities.
Work in partnership with staff from schools and agencies, including network childminders, in order to deliver multi-agency services to parents and children in the local neighbourhood.
Attend planning and staff meetings as required.
Work in any of the services Children's Centres and early years settings as required.
Undertake any other duties which may become necessary to ensure the successful running of the setting.
Requirements
Enhanced DBS is required.
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare.
Experience of working with children in an early years environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational and time management skills.
