My client is one of the worlds leading manufacturers within their industry with a privately owned business They are currently looking for a skilled Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join their growing Acoustics team.
The Role - Graduate Acoustic Consultant:
- Carry out site visits, noise surveys and sound insulation testing (in line with BS4142, BS8233, ProPG, Approved Document E, etc.)
- Work with measurement equipment and modelling software (e.g., NTi, Bruel & Kjaer, CadnaA)
- Analyse data and produce clear, client-ready technical reports
- Liaise with clients, contractors and local authorities, representing the company on-site and during meetings
- Assist senior consultants with project planning, data processing and documentation
Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Graduate Acoustic Consultant:
Essential:
- Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Maths, Music Technology, or similar
(We welcome Maths A-Level and practical problem-solving backgrounds)
- Confident communicator, able to work independently on site
- Practical mindset and comfortable working on construction sites
- Full UK driving licence a company van (with personal use allowed) is included
- Willingness to travel across the UK for site visits
Desirable:
- Up to 12 years experience in Acoustics
- Familiarity with British Standards and acoustic assessment techniques
- Working knowledge of measurement kit and modelling tools
- IOA Diploma (or interest in completing it support provided)
The Package - Graduate Acoustic Consultant:
- £25,000£26,000 salary + company van (private use permitted) ~£30,000 package
- Support and mentoring toward IOA Diploma and further qualifications
- Flexible working based near Doncaster but can live anywhere within ~2 hours

The Role of the Sales Assessor
The main element of the role as the new sales assessor is to assess patients so that they have the correct equipment bespoke to their specific needs and requirements
80% Account Management
As the new area assessor you will assess, promote and sell products including seating, slings, showering and toilet products mainly within the NHS
Selling and assessing into the NHS, Community, Special Schools, Nursing Homes and a lot of communicating and softly selling to Occupational Therapists
This is a very soft empathetic type of sale
Expectation once you are up and running is to do 4 appointments a day.
Lots of training for the first 3 months shadowing other members of the team and you will be expected in the office during that time
Benefits of the Sales Assessor
£25k-£30k basic salary
£20k OTE (Uncapped)

The Ideal Person for the Sales Assessor
Ideally graduate/sports sciences/good anatomy knowledge keen to pursue sales career.
Be able to work independently
Work hard and be rewarded for hard work
Want to make a difference to the quality of someone's life
Want to bring new ideas to the table.
Must have customer facing experience as you will be going to people houses to do patient assessments.
An understanding of care homes/hospitals would be an advantage
You will have used a CRM system.
Will certainly consider a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist looking to get into medical sales
Must be physically fit, need to be computer literate and have outstanding customer service skills
Must have a driving license

Minimum 2:1 in Civil Engineering (BEng, BSc)
Ideally a graduate member of ICE or IStructE, but this is not essential.
Understanding/interest of temporary works, structural or geotechnical design
Technically competent and confident communicator
Organised, self-motivated, and a keen learner
Will be confident using AutoCAD.
Experience with Revit would be beneficial. Training will be provided.
