We're looking for a talented Ground maintenance Operative to work with our Client based near Clitheroe, Lancashire BB7 area.

The hours for this role are 38 - 40 hours/week covering 5/5.5 days/week. Full, Part time or Job Share considered.
The Role:
As the Ground maintenance Operative you will provide professional maintenance duties in a glorious private property extending to 18 acres.
The client has 2 woodland areas and recently purchased 7 acres which they planted to woodland.
To ensure success you need to demonstrate multitasking abilities to meet the required standard for the property.
A willingness to work with a small number of hobby farm animals and pets is essential as is availability to drive, out of normal hours, for extra income.
You Will also be tasked with:
Maintaining condition and appearance of lawns and grounds.
Mowing, watering and fertilising lawns.
Planting, trimming, mulching and fertilising flowers, shrubs, hedges and trees.
Cleaning and maintaining property and general upkeep performing light repairs as necessary.
Keeping facilities and surrounding areas free from debris and weeds.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment and materials.
Following applicable safety guidelines and procedures.
Performing other duties as required.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Groundsperson role will be hard-working, detail orientated, organised and happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
You will also need:
Appropriate qualifications or 2 years work experience in a similar position.
Proficient knowledge of maintaining lawns, fields, grounds and woodlands.
Full, clean driving licence is essential.
Proficient with operating groundskeeping equipment such as tractors, power mowers, strimmers and chainsaws.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal.
Ability to work as an individual under own initiative.
Reliable, punctual and polite

Deliver and fit all complex medical equipment across the region as specified in the Service Level Agreement whilst providing excellent customer service.Have the skills and understanding to support health colleagues by making low level decisions about equipment distribution and fitting; making amendments when necessary and feeding back your decision.Follow the correct recording procedures for delivery, fitting and collection ensuring all associated paperwork is completed accurately and to the required standard.Operate the handheld scanner correctly and accurately, completing all fields to the required standard.Prepare van for operation by inspecting general condition, safety checks, checking fluid levels and tyre pressure, obtaining or scheduling repairs with the transport team.Load vans to deliver and collect in the most effective and efficient way and ensure compliance with load carrying and road safety standards.Agree a delivery/fitting and collection schedule with the transport admin team ensuring the most effective and efficient method and route.Identify destinations, establish routes, operate the van, load/unload equipment and maintain set schedules.Regularly clean the van’s interior and exterior.Complete all planned delivery and collections within service KPI deadlines.Make full use of the mapping system, both electronic and paper.Ensure that returned equipment is properly booked back in and stored appropriately.
Obtain a delivery signature on the hand held scanner or delivery note stating full and proper delivery details and fitting if required. Up to date information must be used on all delivery and collection documents.
Drive the vehicle in a fuel efficient and safe manner and within the law.Follow all policies and procedures as described in the Transport Manual.Assist with warehouse operations as necessary.
