3.1 Customer Experience.
Understanding the services and products on offer to assist with customer questions and queries
Supporting different types of customers with different needs
Supporting the centre in gaining customer feedback on our products and services including dealing with customer complaints
Support the centre to deliver swimming lessons where required (qualification dependant)
Sharing knowledge with customers on the role exercise plays in health and wellbeing
Conducting customers' gym inductions and health screening where required (qualifications dependant)
Planning and delivering exercise sessions to meet customers' health and fitness goals

Understand the performance of the centre(s) that you are working in and the external and internal factors that can affect performance

Support the centre to open and close the building
Supervising and lifeguarding customers in swimming pools
Setting up and taking down different types of equipment for activities such as badminton, exercise classes and 5-a-side football
Cleaning and maintenance of different areas of the centre

You will be enrolled on a Leisure Team Member apprenticeship programme which takes approximately 18months to complete as well as completing the following qualifications throughout the length of your apprenticeship:
o National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
o First Aid at Work (Level 3)
o STA Award in Teaching Swimming
o STA Certificate in Teaching Swimming
o Level 2 Gym Instructor
Attend all monthly workshops and progress meetings as per your apprenticeship standard
Fully participates and engages in GLL Management meetings, development programmes and on going assessment of performance
Develops skills through shared learning and peer learning community.
Discusses own performance, learning and development needs with their line manager, which is reflected in a live personal development plan.

Key Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Site Manager, this post holder will learn about and be trained to:
Safety and security
Undertake regular routine testing of fire alarms, emergency lights and firefighting equipment
Complete statutory and routine testing as and when required to manufacturers’ standards ensuring record keeping is up to date using appropriate computer software, including heating, fire alarms and extinguishers, emergency lighting, and legionella for example.
Ensure Health and Safety compliance with regard to all regulations, policies and codes of practice.
Maintain a high level of security across academy premises including dealing with alarm systems and liaising with security services
Undertake key holding duties for locking and unlocking of premises
General Maintenance
Install, maintain or repair jobs of a minor plumbing, joinery, painting nature. For example, repairing leaky taps, boarding up broken windows, replacing internal door locks, replacing toilet seats and toilet roll dispensers
Clean and tidy all outside spaces, paths, gullies and drains including snow clearance when required and remove graffiti from internal and/or external spaces
Undertake basic maintenance of caretaking/cleaning equipment
Undertake emergency cleaning as and when required
Transport refuse to bins in agreed collection points for agreed collection times
Undertake basic minibus visual checks as per the agreed schedule
General Duties
Identify and report any repairs, maintenance or replacements that require action
Ensure adequate stock management of material and equipment
Collect or order goods as required for completion of any caretaking or maintenance jobs
Carry out porter duties as required including receipt of goods and supplies
Oversee car parking arrangements and ensure additional temporary parking and signage as required
Monitor all contractors on site and ensure work is completed to the required standard
Set out/put away furniture and equipment for functions, meetings and exams
To be able to travel between other E-ACT Academy sites in Bristol on occasion should a specific need arise
To have a flexible approach around working hours if required

We are currently looking for a motivated, professional, and flexible individual able to work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday day shifts, within a small stock count team, counting our Pharmacy Clients. In this role, you are required to accurately count stock for Retail & Asset Solutions in various high street Pharmacies, this role is extremely important to ensure pharmacies are fully stocked with the medication required for local Doctors and Hospitals. Please note all training is provided upon your first shift. Previous stock, audit or retail experience is advantageous but not essential.

Please note all work will require prolonged periods of standing and some use of step stools and ladders. Some sites are in warehouses or large retail premises where you may be required to access and work with ground and high level stock, therefore you will be bending and stretching to reach stock throughout your shift and at times may possibly be outdoors. This role will involve working unsociable hours, working early mornings or night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 18 years. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Education and Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for the overall programming design, implementation, and evaluation, facilitating the professional development and continuous learning of new and existing employees. The Education and Community Outreach Coordinator will significantly contribute to achieving and maintaining company-wide, innovative programming supporting key initiatives, including education and apprenticeship opportunities, safety, and community outreach. The Education and Community Outreach Coordinator will be the point of contact for all RISE-related issues and coordinate communication between employees, stakeholders, and outside partners. The Education and Community Outreach Coordinator will build, strengthen, and maintain strategic partnerships to provide opportunities for existing employees and potential employees from traditionally underrepresented and underserved communities to participate in programs designed to expose them to career paths in the roofing industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all RISE program initiatives. Actively strive to foster and maintain a workplace climate that is supportive and respectful of employees and creates a learning environment for students that encourages personal development, growth, and success. Develop marketing messages and strategies to promote engagement and participation to elevate new and existing employees. Assist with the design and development of marketing and promotional materials. Ensure all communications reach different generations, diverse populations, and various levels of education. Responsible for collecting and analyzing data, maintaining program records, and monitoring participant progress. Continually measure the impact of activities and adapt and refine the program of delivery as necessary. Establish metrics and benchmark data, develop reports for specific programs, and report outcomes to employees, stakeholders, and outside partners. Create and maintain a database of outreach contacts to foster and develop collaborative partnerships. Continually explore ways to develop new resources and partnerships. Proactively identify potential barriers to participant success and work within WTI and outside agencies to deliver solutions. Create and maintain a mentor program designed to inspire and support new participants. Provide excellent customer service to employees and outside partners. Create a participant satisfaction survey and annual program report. Meet deadlines for all reports, data, publications, and budget requests. Travel as needed and represent RISE/WTI at student and employee recruiting events, career fairs, conferences, etc.(up to 50% travel). Maintain working knowledge of emerging national trends and best practices in the industry, as well as in outreach, pre-college initiatives, and education related to employee success. Work with WTI management to continually devise and implement process improvements and align programming to meet current and future company needs. Support WTI in advocacy, strategy, and community efforts. May participate in community and education-related committees to further the goals of WTI Education and Community Outreach program(s). QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree in education, social services, or psychology is preferred but not required. 2-4 years prior years related experience in human services, education, or community development. Proven ability to develop strong, respectful relationships. Prior experience working with and contributing to a diverse workplace. Experience adapting to changing environments and navigating organizational dynamics. Demonstrated ability to maintain high confidentiality, discretion, and integrity levels. Proven commitment to promoting equity and inclusivity and demonstrated sensitivity to the needs and concerns of those of culturally and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated experience in understanding issues and trends in higher education programs, focusing on the retention needs of low-income, first-generation, historically underrepresented, marginalized, and/or underserved students. Possess fluency in current events and corporate sustainability issues. Experience in an influential role where extraordinary results were achieved through accountability and leading others to achieve and maintain a high standard of performance. Prior experience clearly defining expectations, articulating ideas, thoughts, and views, and providing continual, timely, frank, and direct feedback to others.
