The successful candidate will work on projector set up and maintenance, weekly projection scheduling and administration with distributor coordination. Role will also include working with the film manager to assist on booking of certain titles while learning how programming decisions balance audience demand, critical reviews and commercial performance. It will also provide insight into how programming connects with audience experience, hospitality, and the overall identity of the venue.
Testing films and creating playlists for scheduling on servers and projectors.
Digitising content and managing servers to ensure all films are ready for presentation. Including liaising with distributors for missing content and KDMs.
Creating and editing slides and videos for on-screen and social media usage.
Social media posting including scheduling posts, stories with a mix of advertising and engagement content.
Design our film brochure on a bi-monthly basis.
Internal presentation such as slides and poster changes.
Start-up and closing down of projectors and the building - being a keyholder.
Running live screenings from satellite broadcasts with volume and lighting changes.
Run event screenings which require ordering of merchandise, liaising with guests in advance, presenting and hosting Q&A’s.
Assist on financial administration and tracking.
Research upcoming film releases and benchmark against other cinemas.
