ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical development and manufacturing organization that focuses on innovative solutions for the biotech and pharma sectors. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Business Development Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Actively seek out new business opportunities for clinical services, including identifying potential markets, clients, and partnerships.
- Develop and implement strategies to successfully generate new enquiries and convert these into business.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and tailoring proposals accordingly.
- Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation through to negotiations, proposals, and securing agreements.
- As the Business Development Manager, you will manage the opportunity pipeline and contribute to achieving sales forecasts.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Business Development Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in a science-based subject (e.g., Chemistry / Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical Science / Pharmaceutical Technology) or proven experience in clinical or pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong technical and scientific background with experience working within a CRO/CMO environment or with analytical and formulation development. Those with OSD experience will take priority on application.
- Proven experience in client-facing activities, generating new leads, and managing project lifecycles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior management and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Training & development
Your apprenticeship blends academic study with real‑world lab work. You’ll build capability in experimental design, data analysis, project management, and scientific communication—progressing from supporting lab operations to independently planning and running experiments in the second half of the programme. Alongside technical skills, you’ll develop essential soft skills such as teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, and effective communication. Regular collaboration with colleagues and mentors will help you build confidence, resilience, and a proactive approach to learning and contributing within a dynamic R&D environment.Training:

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Clinical Psychologist to work in a specialist nursing home based in the Daventry, Northamptonshire and a private hospital based in the Cambridgeshire area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

**To be considered for this position you must hold a Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist and Charterable status with the British Psychological Society**
As the Clinical Psychologist your key responsibilities include:
Support the provision of psychology services in a specified area, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and under the direction and supervision of a Senior/Principal/Consultant or Lead Psychologist
Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and ensure that the patient is fully engaged in their care pathway
Support clinical team working, including both direct interventions and the delivery of staff training programmes
Support the clinical team and area of service in developing new initiatives and ways of working
Work with internal and external agencies to enhance treatment pathways for patients
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Experience of working with clients with complex needs that are relevant to the population in the service area
Competency in psychological assessment and formulation skills and an aptitude for learning new assessment methods
Competency with risk assessment, management, and evaluation tools
Clinical therapy skills - Experience using different therapeutic approaches to address a range of clinical issues
An awareness of other modalities and how they may be applied to the current service user population
