Sales Representative - Northeast
JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary Carboline is looking to fill an open Territory Sales Representative within their Northeast Region seeking candidates located near Boston, Philadelphia, DC or the Metro New York areas focusing heavily on Carboline's Flooring Market. This position will be responsible for both selling and generating new business with already established customers while also developing new prospects to grow volume, revenue and increase the profitability of this territory. We are seeking individuals with a hunters mentality and prior experience working in the paint and coatings industry. This position will report into the Northeast Region Director of Sales. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's in Business or a Technical degree or equivalent experience 4+ years sales and or business development experience, preferably in the protective coatings industry Preferred Requirements Previous industrial sales experience within the coatings industry is preferred. NACE certifications are a plus! Physical Requirements This position requires minimal physical activity. May require lifting up to 50lbs on occasion. May require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day. Occasional exposure to various chemicals. May require travel by car up to 50%, including nighttime. Essential Functions Responsible for calling on new and existing customers to build sales volume, to remain abreast of customer requirements and to assess market trends. Calls on customers and prospective customers to inform them of products, new releases, services available, supply, etc. Provides technical assistance when necessary. Responsible for securing and renewing orders; works with customer services and sales management to provide servicing levels required by the customer. Builds and maintains a sales program within the territory based on strategic planning including prospecting, new business development, levels of available business and level of repeat business. Works effectively with all company personnel and resources to provide full customer service and assure continuing customer satisfaction. Applies good judgment and prompt follow through on customer complaints, returns, claims or other problems on products / services provided. Gathers and reports significant developments within accounts, prospects competitors and the general market for use by company management in research, analysis and planning purposes. Provides annual sales detailing target markets and accounts. May act as a Field Technical Service Engineer as requested. Committed to the Company's safety and quality programs. Business Systems Analyst - Master Data
JOB DESCRIPTION General Purpose of the Job: Provides support under the direction of a Sr Business Analyst and Team Leader Business Systems. Provides 1st and 2nd level SAP help desk support for master data related tickets and other areas as assigned based on experience. Trains and assists users in the use of SAP business application software as needed to support the understanding and knowledge of Master Data Management. Provides master data consulting in support business and IT initiatives, primarily SAP but also include in other Systems like CRM/PIM and Eshop. Ensures master data integrity in SAP and other key systems as identified. Identifies area's of data improvements. Prepares KPI's and recommendations for improvement. Strong Business Partner for IT internal and Internal Customers. Highly involved to communicate and to Align to the internal Master Data Governance. Notes on how to avoid master Data conflicts. Assists with SAP Roll out by assisting with data cleansing and loading activities. Additional related activities as assigned. Light configuration and other duties as assigned and as capacity allows. Performs systems analysis, design, configuration and programming tasks related to enhancements, interfaces, data conversion and special reporting requirements, etc. Advises users as to the applicability of various alternatives to meet the specified requirements, such as: SAP baseline functionality & reporting, specialized configuration, extracts to PC-based analysis tools, custom report-writing and report development, complimentary software packages, and or changes to business processes. Designs and assists users in the design and documentation of business processes and procedures, the development of training materials, and the delivery of training, etc. Performs thorough testing of all new and revised system functions and reports, and performs quality assurance reviews of procedural documentation and training materials. Contributes as a team member for projects / tasks established in a given functional area, such as: sales & distribution, finance & accounting, EHS or manufacturing. Participates in various user group forums to address issue management, to field & manage enhancements requests, and to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas among users in a given functional area of the business operation. JOB DESCRIPTION GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Construction Manager is responsible for managing all projects (including GC and larger-scale P&R, TremCares, etc). This will involve working with the superintendent or technicians assigned to the project to ensure delivery is on time and within budget, as well as selecting and managing all sub-contractors. Additional duties will include participating in all proposals, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the aforementioned projects. Also, responsible for Sales and Service Support, Field Resources, and Customer Management communication as necessary. Abide by all Company policies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for contributing to, validating, and signing off on all proposals and specifications. Forwards published copies to local Tremco Representative, Superintendent, Facility Contact, and Roofing Subcontractor. Bidding Stage Publishes, approves, and distributes Addendum (where applicable) Receives and reviews bids and agreements Pre-construction Stage: Provides established Project Schedule. Assists the Superintendent in planning and coordinating the Pre-Construction Meeting. Provides the superintendent with necessary subcontractor information, such as site-specific safety plans, certificates, etc., from the Bid Form prior to the Pre-Construction Meeting. Conducts and processes completed Pre-Construction Meeting documentation and distributes to all applicable parties. Construction Stage: Daily receipt and review of Daily Inspection forms. Visits job site as necessary. Receive and review Weekly Progress Meeting Minutes, Attend or be involved via conference call. Maintain Project Schedule process updates from the superintendent.
