Please note that this role would require office attendance 1 or 2 days per week.
The Role
Provide comprehensive legal advice on employment law matters.
Represent clients in disputes concerning employment issues.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to employment law.
Draft and review contracts, policies, and employment-related documents.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders within the local government and public sectors.
Ensure compliance with current legislation and best practices in employment law.
The Person
Must be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with relevant employment law experience.
A proven track record of at least 5 years PQE specifically in employment work.
Previous experience working within local government or the public sector is highly desirable.
Demonstrated history of successful longer-term placements (minimum of six months) supporting clients.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
