We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Catering Engineer to work within our specialist commercial catering department. Due to continuing growth, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Catering Engineer to join our growing team within the North of Scotland! You will be field based visiting customer sites such as Restaurants/Hotels, Hospitals, Schools, Nursing Homes, Colleges, & Universities.
As a Commercial Catering Engineer, your key responsibilities will include service, maintenance, repair and fault finding of gas and electric kitchen equipment. This role is field based and will require you to be customer facing as well as meeting clients.

- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Solid experience with Product Data Management (PDM).
- Strong understanding of structural mechanics, materials science, and thermal management principles.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software for static and dynamics structural and thermal simulations, Comsol Multiphysics preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for precision components, including additive manufacturing and CNC machining.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and diligence.
- Previous experience from the space-industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
