- Wiring- working from electrical drawings.
- Installation of electrical panels into machines.
- Machine wiring, termination to electrical panel.
- Undertake electrical tests, safety check and complete appropriate documentation.
- Supporting a culture of continuous business improvement.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Time served apprenticeship or suitable gained experience in an electrical assembly role.
- At least 2 years of experience of panel board population
- Machine Wiring and testing of complex Electric-mechanical machines.
- Ability to read and understand electrical circuit drawings.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Knowledge of different voltage systems
- Familiarity with automated production machinery or other similar capital equipment.
- A good understanding of electrical wiring diagrams.
- Systematic approach to your work with attention to detail
- Flexibility and curiosity with willingness to learn and apply themselves to areas with which they are not familiar.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Industrial Electrician is responsible for diagnosing and fixing all electrical problems facility-wide and performs preventative maintenance to keep all equipment in operating condition. Contributes to the implementation of capital projects with technical expertise and assistance, and oversees contractors if required. Modifies existing equipment to improve effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and equipment. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications, and schematics to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment. Diagnose, locate the cause, and repair malfunctioning systems, and components using test equipment. Perform preventative maintenance by inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components. Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Direct and train other workers and apprentices to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Work on other electrical projects as required. Modifies existing equipment to improve effectiveness. Requires some mechanical maintenance. Ensure all work performed adheres to all relevant organizational, local and federal safety regulations, codes, and specifications.
EDUCATION
Associate degree or diploma from college or technical school required. Completion of relevant apprenticeship preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Two to four years related experience and/or training Minimum 3 years of experience/knowledge working in the LEAN manufacturing environment or similar capacity.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Primary purpose of role: Joining the team as a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for undertaking various calibrations to ISO9001 accredited standards in accordance with Company Procedures.
