Are you ready to turn your hand to new skills? We're looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Chef - helping our kitchen team make amazing food for our guests.
As part of this apprenticeship, you'll work towards a Production Chef - Level 2 qualification. The training will be delivered in the form of work-based learning and will include functional skills.

At Change Grow Live Walsall, as a Recovery Worker Apprentice, you will be working towards the Adult Care Level 2 apprenticeship, over the duration of 18 months, alongside your daily roles and responsiblities.
The focus of this role is to provide intensive key work to families who have drug and/or alcohol misuse issues, which could potentially put their children, families or themselves at risk. Workers will work to help families overcome complex problems, which will enable them to become reintegrated into society. This role will cover operational sites as required, including community locations and family homes. This includes working with adults and young people with a history of substance misuse.

To attend daily morning meetings and other meetings as necessary

Training:What Carlton Lodge will do for you:
You’ll be paid the Apprentice Training Budget of £7.55 an hour.
The role will be about 20% studying and 80% working, but 100% learning! You’ll be working toward a nationally recognised Level 3 Outdoor Activity Leader Standard Apprenticeship.
After some comprehensive training, you will work alongside our highly qualified and experienced instructors.
A training budget is available toward National Governing Body courses or Continual Professional Development, based on our mutual requirements. This will be discussed at interview.

Training Outcome:Our busy activity centre has a range of positions that could be offered to the suitable candidate on completion of their apprenticeship, from seasonal activity instructors (February to November) and permanent activity instructors.
There could also be an opportunity to complete their Level 5 apprenticeship. We also are well respected by other local Activity Centres and have had several staff move to full time employment with them. The final year will involve completion of a portfolio and preparation for End Point Assessment (EPA). This measures the skills, knowledge and behaviours outlined in the standard and is carried out by ESFA approved organisations who are independent of the college
