Training:
You will be working towards an Advanced Diploma Early Years.
Your apprenticeship will last for 14 months, where you will be supported by a dedicated assessor throughout your apprenticeship, as well as a mentor and other staff within the nursery.
This apprenticeship requires dedication, commitment & punctuality for you to be successful.
This apprenticeship will open doors to a variety of future roles & career paths within the childcare sector.
Training will take place in the workplace.
You will need to attend online training with your assessor for 1 day a week for the first 8 weeks of your 14-month apprenticeship, for your classroom-based learning and you will be working within the nursery for the rest of the time with the support of your dedicated childcare assessor.
You will complete a qualification in paediatric first aid.
Apprenticeship is 14 months in duration.
Working in a nursery setting full-time, min 30hrs a week.
Attending online group classroom session 1 day a week for the first 8 weeks.
Updating online portfolio in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
Training Schedule will be communicated once the candidate is successful.
Training Outcome:Developing into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a full-time position upon successful completion. Other prospects could include applying for:
Room Leader positions.
Possible management training.
Springboard into primary education.
Paediatric nursing.
Continuous development in the current nursery setting.

Training:
As an apprentice, you'll receive regular training alongside your job to help you develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed for your role
At least 20% of your working hours will be dedicated to off-the-job training, which includes study time, workshops, and learning activities.
You'll be working to complete the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which will include any required Functional Skills in English and maths
Training is delivered either online or in person at our training centre in Hackney, offering flexibility to suit your needs.
You'll be supported by experienced tutors and assessors throughout your apprenticeship, ensuring you stay on track and successfully complete your qualification

Training Outcome:Completing a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship opens the door to a wide range of opportunities in the Early Years sector. With this qualification, individuals become fully qualified practitioners, capable of working independently with children in nurseries, preschools, and reception classes.
As they gain experience, they may progress into more senior roles such as:
Senior Practitioner or Room Leader - overseeing a team within a room, leading planning and observation, and supporting less experienced colleagues
Deputy Nursery Manager - supporting the nursery manager in daily operations, compliance, safeguarding, and staff development
Nursery Manager - leading the entire nursery setting, ensuring high standards of care and education, team performance, and regulatory compliance

Level 4 Early Years Advanced Practitioner:
Ideal for those who want to specialise in areas such as SEND, safeguarding, or early language development. This course enhances practice and supports progression into leadership
Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner:
Designed for experienced practitioners ready to take on leadership roles within their settings. It focuses on leading day-to-day practice, mentoring staff, and contributing to strategy and curriculum development
Both qualifications can be delivered flexibly, either online or in-person, and include dedicated support from our experienced tutors and safeguarding officers
Further progression can include:
Moving into school-based roles such as Teaching Assistant or SEND Support

Understand and adhere to the settings' safeguarding policies and procedures to keep children safe and secure at all times, and ensure others at the setting are adhering to the policy
Deal with child protection issues, reporting any concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead/Deputy for the setting and record factual information accurately
Report any safeguarding concerns about any adult working in the setting to the manager following the setting's policy and procedures regarding whistleblowing
Adhere to the requirements of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and Ofsted
Adhere to the settings code of conduct
Prepare and fully set out a stimulating and attractive child care environment for the children according to the weekly planning, ensure health and safety is maintained, and complete the daily indoor and outdoor risk assessment if requested
Ensure rooms are left clean and tidy at the end of each day
Contribute to the weekly planning for children if requested by the room leader
Have day-to-day responsibility for health and safety and the care of the children in your designated room within the setting
