To attend all required training, team meetings, and site briefings to support continuous learning and integration into the team.
To assist Cabling Engineers with the installation, splicing, and testing of singlemode and multimode fibre optic cabling under direct supervision.
To assist with the installation, termination, and testing of copper cabling systems, including Category 6 UTP and STP cabling, coaxial cables, in line with training modules and work instructions.
To support the testing and labelling of installations, accurately recording results for review and approval by a qualified Cabling Engineer or Supervisor.
To undertake any other reasonable duties aligned with the learning objectives of the apprenticeship and the needs of the business.

We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Data Centre Engineer to join a high-performing team supporting a prestigious international financial environment.
Key responsibilities:
• Day-to-day Data Centre operations (installs, decommissions, moves, changes)
• Change & incident management with SLA ownership
• Racking, stacking, cabling, patching, and hardware support
• Vendor escorting and supervision
• Asset tracking, documentation, and inventory control
• Supporting infrastructure upgrades, outages, and maintenance windows
