Your Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining all plant, machinery and production equipment to ensure safe, continual and efficient operation
Support periodic and preventive maintenance regimes across the site
Assist with emergency troubleshooting, fault-finding and breakdown maintenance support
Help achieve maintenance goals, activity scheduling and work completion to support production targets
Keep accurate, auditable records of maintenance activity on paper and electronic systems
Work with engineers and technicians to identify and implement improvements to plant and process
Where required, liaise with suppliers and specialist contractors to help diagnose machine faults and identify spare parts or service requirements
Follow all Asahi health and safety policies and procedures, reporting any incidents promptly
Support and participate in site safety initiatives, continuous improvement activities
Attend college to complete the theoretical and technical elements of the apprenticeship, working towards a recognised engineering maintenance qualification
Carry out reasonable additional duties as directed by your supervisor or the Engineering Department
Training:Apprentices will be required to attend college at least x1 day per week at Uxbridge Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship.
