As a Consultant Psychiatrist your key responsibilities include:
Taking clinical responsibility for patients, including multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, strategic reviews and the development of a therapeutic milieu
Fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician to patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983)
Supervising the process of referral and admission including contributing to preadmission assessments of young people with other team members
Offering a psychiatric perspective to the multidisciplinary team in relation to the assessment, formulation and treatment of young people
Contributing to management meetings and clinical governance meetings for the services provided at the hospital, and contributing to the development of service strategy
Contributing to in-house training programmes within the services and offering supervision to other members of the multi-disciplinary team, particularly junior medical staff
Maintaining CPD and re-validation requirements, as determined by the Royal College of Psychiatrists or other relevant statutory bodies
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties
Knowledgeable of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, along with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Capacity
A first-rate communicator who can interview, assess & treat patients & write clear, comprehensive medical notes

Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

The Post

The Post
The Assistant Management Accountant role will be responsible primarily for supporting the Finance Manager and Finance Director with the preparation of monthly management accounts, the annual budget and financial statements for the Ethical Property Company. This will involve business partnering with centre managers and budget holders, meeting regularly and providing finance support to the business. Some UK travel using public transport is required.Tasks include:
• Monthly bank reconciliation.• Balance Sheet reconciliations.• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts.• Send management accounts to budget holders and assist with any queries.• Reviewing financial information with the Finance manager and budget holders.• Management of the fixed assets register, including depreciation calculations and verification exercises.
The Assistant Management Accountant will report to the Finance Manager.

Personal competencies and skills:• Collaborative approach with strong teamwork skills.• Customer-focused approach to providing a finance service.• A high level of personal organisation
Essential skills and experience:• AAT part qualified or passed finalist, CIMA/ACCA part qualified or intending to study.• Experience of working in similar roles in a finance team, with a likely background in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.• Meticulous attention to detail.• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work, multi-task and remain flexible.• Excellent communication skills at all levels.• To be able to work alone and as part of a wider team.• To be trustworthy, personable and reliable.• A commitment to provide a good service to our tenants, suppliers and colleagues.• Excellent IT skills, including computerised accounts packages and Microsoft Office - at least to intermediate level in Excel.• A commitment to social and environmental issues.
Contractual Details The post is full time working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. The working hours will be between 9 am – 5 pm and is flexible, can work from home up to 2 days a week. The salary will be up to £31,000 a year depending on skills and experience. The role is based in Oxford or Bristol with some UK travel using public transport.

What you’ll be doing – Claims Technician:
Negotiating, settling or repudiating claims in relation to our adjuster’s caseload (both household and commercial losses)Obtaining fire brigade and police reports and ensuring delivery to the field adjuster.Obtaining Equifax and weather reports and thereafter providing a synopsis of the results to the field adjuster.Undertaking pricing enquiries and appointing suppliers.Liaising with insurers and policyholders to obtain information to manage claims.Generating and issuing written communication including settlements and repudiations to policyholders.To handle adjuster’s claim diaries and where applicable issue file reviews to policyholders and Insurers.To manage adjuster’s mailboxes when they are on leave.To handle cases with support from the loss adjusters allowing you to develop your skill set within this field.To assist with other ad-hoc tasks as required by the field force.
You will have / be:
Previous Claims Handling experience.Ideally be CII/CILA qualified or willing to work towards this, full exam support is provided.The ability to prioritise claims and your own workload.Customer and Quality focused, providing exceptional service levels to both internal and external customers.Team focused – working with colleagues throughout the business.Target focused – making sure KPI’s and SLA’s are met.The ability to work on own initiative and to demonstrate attention to detail.Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.Excellent communication skills.A positive attitude and a proactive approach to solving problems.Able to co-ordinate a variety of actions concurrently.
