Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need:
NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
Previous experience working as a Band 6 CPN or in a similar role.
Excellent clinical and communication skills.
Experience in community mental health and managing a caseload.
The ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
Access to your own transport, as travel within the community is required

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join an NHS Neighbourhood Team in Cambridge on an agency contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the community while working within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver high-quality mental health care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct, face-to-face assessments for individuals with significant mental health conditions.
Offer mental health interventions and support to both service users and their carers.
Work collaboratively with the Mental Health Integrated Care Team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Participate in MDT meetings and contribute to shared care planning.
Offer advice and guidance to colleagues on common mental health conditions.
Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of assessment outcomes, treatment goals, and care plans in collaboration with patients and carers.
Support the safe administration and supervision of prescribed medications, following all professional guidelines and policies.
(If applicable) Act as a Supplementary Non-Medical Prescriber, providing specialist advice in non-medical prescribing and medication management.
Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues and learners within the Neighbourhood Team.
Contribute to the development of skills and knowledge in mental health care within the team.
Requirements:
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration.
Previous experience as a CPN in a community or similar setting.
Strong understanding of mental health care pathways, including dementia and functional illness.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of medication management and ability to supervise prescribed treatments.
Excellent communication and assessment skills.
