This is a temporary seasonal position working any 5-6 days out of 7. Working hours are 7:00am to 16:30 pm with a 1-hour unpaid break. This role does include evening lockups between 7pm and 9pm. As you progress through your apprenticeship, you will assist the Rookery South O&M teams with the operational priorities of a state-of-the-art modern Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) which is capable of processing up to 675,000 tonnes of residual waste per year, whilst generating and exporting electrical energy onto the National Grid.
You will develop your knowledge and skills on the ERF technical processes, operate systems using world class technology, and develop a detailed understanding of the interconnected electro-mechanical plant and a focus on plant performance, availability and reliability.Training:Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Level 3.
