Working on an initial part-time basis, you will be responsible for ensuring that the site is kept clean, and tidy, and that works can proceed on site as planned. You will be taking direction from the Site Management Team, along with also working closely with the sub-contractors on site and assisting them accordingly. The role will involve cleaning of all site facilities, including Site Office, Canteen, Toilets, Welfare Area/Facilities and access routes on site.

Responsible for providing heavy duty cleaning services within the manufacturing plant and warehouse.
Essential Functions
Run floor scrubber and floor buffer as needed.
Empty plant floor trash containers and advise maintenance manager when the trash dumpster is full.
Empty all cardboard containers on the plant floor and take cardboard to the recycling dumpster outside the facility.
Sweep the plant floor daily removing dust from the plant floor.
Assists in cleaning up chemical spills as required. Follows safety guidelines in doing this task.
Monitor supplies of floor cleaner, trash bags, and floor buffer scrubber pads, and makes maintenance manager aware of when these supplies need to be restocked.
Reports all spills, leaks, equipment malfunctions, and safety hazards to the productino supervisor and/or the maintenance manager
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent; in lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education may be considered.
5 years' Janitor experience in an Industrial Environment.

Throughout the duration of the programme, candidates will be expected to attend EMTEC’s training centre in Nottingham for scheduled blocks of training to develop and assess their technical skills
Regular visits to the dealership from EMTEC Vocational Learning Advisors will take place. During these visits, advisors will observe and assess evidence opportunities that occur naturally within the workplace, supporting the apprentice throughout their programme
Assessment includes:
Ongoing assessment of technical skills, knowledge, behaviours and professional standards
Workplace observations and reviews of practical competence
Knowledge assessments throughout the programme
Practical skills assessments to ensure the apprentice can safely and effectively carry out autocare servicing and maintenance tasks
Reviews of the apprentice’s progress and development towards the end-point assessment
This is followed by the End-Point Assessment, which assesses the apprentice’s overall competence and readiness to work independently as an Autocare Technician. This will include assessments of the apprentice’s knowledge, skills and behaviours through a combination of practical and knowledge-based assessments
Each apprentice will achieve the following:
Autocare Technician Apprenticeship Standard – Level 2
Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English, where requiredRelevant manufacturer and/or industry-recognised
training and certificates
Workplace experience and competence across a range of autocare servicing, maintenance and repair activities
Training Outcome:
Further opportunities to develop career to become a fully qualified master technician and MOT tester

The Global Director of Research & Development, Cleaners is responsible for leading Rust-Oleum's global cleaners technology platform and innovation pipeline. This role provides strategic and technical leadership for the development, commercialization, quality improvement, and lifecycle management of cleaner, detergent, disinfectant, degreaser, and specialty surface care products across consumer and professional markets.

Qualifications
Education
Ph.D. preferred; M.S. required in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Surfactant Science, or related discipline.
Experience
15+ years of progressive R&D leadership experience in consumer cleaners organizations.
Proven success leading global product development organizations.
Demonstrated experience commercializing cleaning, detergent, home care, institutional, industrial, or adjacent specialty chemical products.
Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and global innovation portfolios.
Strong track record of translating technology into profitable business growth.
Technical Competencies
Expertise in cleaning formulations, surfactant systems, detergency mechanisms, and performance testing.
