Advanced knowledge and understanding of cement manufacturing, cement chemistry, and raw and finish mill circuit operation. Basic understanding of cement additives chemistries. The Role:
Responsible for product management and procurement in the emerging hydrogen/green energy sector.
Managing a multi-million £ portfolio.
Dealing with a variety of vendors and strategically assessing products with a go to market strategy.
Developing short- & long-term product commercial objectives
Development of long-term sourcing strategies for relevant products, with associated effective ongoing management of effective vendor / key supplier relationships in conjunction with procurement
Liaison with supply management to ensure they have optimum supply, filling and testing agreements in place for their factored products
Managing product supply interruptions.
Responsible for the pricing and P+L.
The Ideal Person: Product Manager
Experience in a product management or sales role.
Strong technical background in chemistry or physics.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Computer literate on systems such as Excel and PowerPoint; experience in SAP, Business Objects and Power BI would be beneficial but training would be provided.
Able to work in a complex, matrix style organisation.

Carry out routine chemical analysis of plating baths to monitor concentration and contamination levels
Assist in the adjustment of chemical solutions based on test results and process needs
Support the operation and analysis requirements of the effluent treatment plant

All aspects of job preparation prior to printing
Apprentice Lithographic Printer training will cover all aspects of lithographic printing, including:
Fundamentals of lithography
Monitoring chemistry
Plate and blanket changing
Making ready the press for each individual job
Maintaining colour consistency while running
Colour management
Roller changing
Press maintenance
Training:Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the qualification obtained will be a Level 3 Print Technician Apprenticeship Standard (press pathway)
The apprentice will be given sufficient time to undertake their "off-the-job" requirement of the apprenticeship.
