To support the Facilities and Maintenance manager when required with the management of a number of key third party facilities contracts including (but not limited to) Poma, remote monitoring/ security, CCTV, IT support and rope access to ensure they comply with the terms of service level agreements.
To collaborate with the Operational team, Sales team and Procurement Manager to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
To assist in the monitoring of all faults and any ride downtime.
To assist with the completion of the preventative maintenance schedule.
What we are looking for:
You will have the ability to react well under pressure and to stay calm and rational in emergency situations.
You will have the aptitude to learn new systems, understand technical manuals, and you will enjoy technical problem-solving and being an expert in systems.
You will be a team player with great communication skills, with a hands-on attitude, willing to muck in and to help out to make sure that the venue stays open, and the operation runs smoothly at all times.
You must be a self-starter who is able to work without direct day-to-day supervision, but equally you must be a team player able to work effectively with colleagues at i360, at our suppliers and the broader team.
A full passport with the right to travel to Europe without needing a visa.
This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as it involves manual handling and climbing on ladders. Therefore, you will be required to pass a fitness test, occupational health screening and medical assessment.

As an IT Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s technology needs, providing first-line technical support, and assisting with IT projects. You will work closely with experienced colleagues who will support your learning and development throughout the programme.
Your focus will be on building on these initiatives for Peoples Place Community Partnership (PPCP) in Toxteth, Liverpool as well x2 other sites within the city support PPCP’s friendly educational client with their IT Support plus a fortnightly trip to a site in Huddersfield and monthly team meetings in London. The duties we see the candidate taking on over the first 13 months includes the following:
Provide support and high-level customer service to staff in a remote capacity, responding to IT queries via phone, email, and ticketing systems, owning tickets through to resolution
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Fix, set up and configure IT equipment such as laptops, PC build, printers and hardware devices
Assist with user account management (password resets, permissions, and access requests)
Help maintain IT documentation, asset registers, and system records
Support the rollout of new technologies, software updates, and security patches – Microsoft 365, CCTV, PC Break Fix
Work with the IT team to ensure systems and data remain secure and compliant
Escalate more complex issues to senior team members when necessary
While most work will be carried out in the Toxteth office location, employees should be prepared to undertake site-based work in 2 locations in Liverpool, Huddersfield fortnightly and London monthly

Responsibilities
During the course of your apprenticeship, you will:
Learn to provide consistently high levels of customer service, ensuring all building users feel supported and welcomed.
Carry out general building‑related duties across managed sites, working within your personal competency and following direction from supervisors.
Develop your knowledge of day‑to‑day facilities tasks, including reception duties, identity checks, opening and locking up procedures, and the use of personal radios.
Learn to receive, document, and dispatch goods and services, including handling and processing post.
Assist with general cleaning duties within buildings as required. This may involve using specialist equipment, for which full training will be provided.
Support the cleaning and maintenance of external areas, such as car parks, cycle stores, and surrounding outdoor spaces.
Work with the Building Supervisor to prepare, clean, and maintain lecture and meeting facilities. This includes manual handling tasks such as moving furniture and audio‑visual equipment, and developing basic knowledge of IT and AV systems.
Help maintain high standards of service and presentation throughout the building. This includes identifying areas needing attention, wearing the provided uniform, being courteous and professional, and following the University Code of Conduct.
Monitor and maintain safety standards, with support, in line with the HASAW Act 1974. You will also become familiar with COSHH and Manual Handling regulations.
Attend University training courses as required to support your development and ensure compliance with relevant procedures.
Provide holiday or sickness cover when needed, which may involve temporary changes to your working hours, duties, or location.
Undertake additional training and comparable duties as directed. This may include first aid, manual handling, CCTV operation, and completing necessary security clearance checks.
