THE OPPORTUNITY: Get Recruited are working with a highly reputable and award-winning Legal practice who are looking for a Legal Cashier to join their growing team! The ideal candidate will have worked within a legal practice within an accounts team. Joining at a very exciting time, as a Legal Cashier you will be:THE ROLE:
Processing accurate and timely financial transactions.
Ensuring all transactions are compliant with SRA and regulations.
Manage and maintain client account records.
Handle petty cash and conduct reconciliation.
Assist with VAT returns and compliance.
Process incoming and outgoing payments, including BACs.
Reconcile bank statements daily and investigate discrepancies promptly.
Post expenses and financial transactions.
Support month end and year end closing processes, including reports
THE PERSON:
Must have at least 3 years’ experience working as a legal cashier or a similar finance role within a law firm.
Strong working knowledge of legal accounts
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work to strict deadlines.
AAT qualification preferred.
