My client who is a long standing and well-respected firm is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join the Residential Conveyancing Team in Newark. They are a progressive, forward-thinking practice that offer supportive working environment with opportunities for career development.
The Role:
- The successful Conveyancing Legal Assistant will provide support to a senior fee earner by preparing correspondence using the case management system, speaking with clients in person and by phone.
- Opening, progressing and closing files as well as other administrative duties such as scanning and photocopying.
Requirements:
- The successful Conveyancing Legal Assistant will possess a strong background in residential conveyancing, knowledge of online Land Registry, Stamp Duty procedures and experience of conveyancing portals.
- Able to conduct ID Checks and work on files without dictation as well as be efficient and accurate, whilst having strong client care skills able to maintain strong relationships.
Benefits:
- Salary: up to £25,000 but is DOE
- Pension Scheme paid by employer at 4.5%
- 5 weeks holiday in addition to statutory bank holidays and any days the office is closed over the Christmas/ New Year period

**Ideally, you will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in healthcare and have 6-12 months experience within an optical setting**
As the Optical Assistant your key duties include:
Working alongside the clinical team in the day to day running of the clinics
Carrying out diagnostic examinations including pre and post-operative clinics
Preparing areas for clinical activity, ensuring all equipment is checked and ready for use
Act as an escort in Theatre supporting other clinical professionals and ensuring patients receive the highest quality of care during their surgery
Clean and store away equipment used
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
6-12 months experience within an optical setting
Passionate about developing a career in Ophthalmology
Ability to provide friendly high-quality care for patients in a caring manner
The successful Optical Assistant will receive an excellent salary up to £21,224 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 37.5 hours a week on Days from 8am-6pm. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
23 days holiday (excluding bank holidays) – increasing with length of service

We are looking for a highly experienced Health Care Assistant to work within a NHS Mental Health unit in Malton (YO17 7NG). The successful candidate will be assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the well-being, dignity and treatment of all patients. The role will involve: • Observing and monitoring the well being of patients ensuring that any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff/the primary nurse and documented as appropriate. • Providing specific interventions with patients as delegated by the Nurse. • Developing and maintaining good professional relationship with patients, colleagues and visitors responding promptly and courteously to requests and enquiries. The successful candidate will have at least 12 month's experience working as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker in a mental health role, preferably in a ward or inpatient environment. Experience in Control and Restraint or PMVA training is beneficial.
