Apprenticeship Programme Requirements
As part of your contract of employment with regards to your Digital Marketing Apprenticeship Programme, you are required to:
Attend and be punctual for all lessons
Complete all assignments with regard to your apprenticeship by the required timeline.
Attend all work-based training/support sessions
Training:To achieve the apprenticeship the candidate builds up a portfolio of work-related evidence.
The apprentice will do this by completing projects. The apprentice will attend weekly taught classes on Teams to cover the technical knowledge and understanding and have reviews every 8 weeks.
A candidate will need to be able gain knowledge and build up a portfolio of work-related evidence covering the duties below:
Duty 1 Contribute to the marketing plan, delivery or evaluation of strategic marketing activity through the creation of written planning and evaluation documents and presentations, e.g., marketing campaign, market and customer intelligence research, communicate and present to stakeholders, agencies and internal teams.
Duty 2 Use appropriate primary and/or secondary research methods including survey tools, key word research tools and desktop research to gather marketing insight or evaluation.
Duty 3 Use research data to inform marketing decisions, targeting, planning, delivery.
Duty 4 Source, create and edit content in collaboration with colleagues for appropriate marketing channels, such as website, email, social media, sales materials, affiliate marketing or event displays, ensuring that brand guidelines are met in order to achieve marketing objectives.
Duty 5 Support and manage the cataloguing of offline and digital marketing materials and assets in line with marketing regulations and legislation including sustainability of hard copy and digital campaigns, e.g., storage and organisation of marketing materials, administering creative asset management systems, recycling/circular economy/energy consumption.
Duty 6 Publish, monitor and respond to editorial, creative or video content via website, social media/video sharing platforms, offline platforms.
Duty 7 Support the administration of marketing activities, e.g., organise a webinar or online/offline event; run an email campaign, run a pay per click (PPC) campaign, support press, advertising and PR activity, and partner marketing activity.
Duty 8 Use the organisation’s customer relationship management system (inhouse or externally sourced) to maintain accurate customer data and relationships are managed in the pursuit of marketing goals.
Duty 9 Identify and use relevant/emerging trends, solutions and technologies to implement effective marketing activities.
Duty 10 Contribute to the monitoring of marketing expenditure and activities to a specified budget and plan in line with company processes.
Duty 11 Monitor, optimise, analyse and evaluate marketing campaigns and channels in order to deliver on marketing objectives for the organisation and/or clients, measuring marketing delivery effectiveness.
The Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard will involve an End Point Assessment at the end of the programme; the independent external assessor will assess each element of the end point assessment and will then decide whether to award successful apprentices with a fail, pass, a merit or a distinction.
The end point assessment includes an assessment of all the requirements of the standard, including, competencies, knowledge and behaviours. It takes place in the final few months of the apprenticeship, using four assessment methods:

Core Responsibilities (Right Seat):
Provide technical and application support to internal stakeholders via email, phone, video conferencing, and helpdesk systems.
Monitor and maintain data quality within the CRM, ensuring all records and information are accurate, complete, and up to date.
Create and manage views, filters, and saved lists in the CRM to support sales and marketing operations.
Use tools such as Hunter, LinkedIn, and Co-Pilot to source accurate contact information and create targeted marketing lists within the CRM to support campaign planning and execution.
Research prospective employer contacts and organisations to enrich CRM data and support business development.
Generate data reports from the CRM to support analysis of activities, pipelines, and live accounts.
Support the analysis of simple and complex data to meet business reporting needs, using various techniques to validate results, identify faults, and implement remedies to ensure data integrity.
Collate and format data to facilitate processing and presentation for review, in accordance with the organisation's policy and procedures and recognised industry good practice.
Assist in training relevant TDM team members by delivering internal sessions on CRM functionalities, features, and best practices. Ensuring there are continuous revised guides and FAQs spaces in the staff vle for the team members to refer to.
Document actions and maintain audit trails for issue resolution and system changes.
Collaborate with the CRM provider, the Business Support team, and external stakeholders to research CRM capabilities, support system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and implement new functionalities that improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
Explore automation opportunities between systems, aiming to reduce duplication and improve data accuracy.
Manage and prioritise digital support tasks using ticketing systems, calendars, and project management tools.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including digital transformation and system enhancements.
Maintain data security and confidentiality protocols while ensuring compliance with all TDM policies, procedures, and legal responsibilities, including safeguarding, ISO9001, Data Protection, Cyber Essentials, and confidentiality standards.
Perform any other duties as directed by your line manager and/or a Director.
Training:Digital Support Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
The successful candidate will undertake an 18-month nationally recognised qualification delivered by TDM. This work-based learning programme includes quarterly block training days delivered via our virtual learning environment, weekly off-the-job training, and monthly coaching sessions.
You will be expected to demonstrate all required competencies and behaviours outlined in the apprenticeship standard, leading to successful qualification. Training will be delivered through Totara, our digital learning platform, which supports both asynchronous and synchronous learning for off-the-job training.
A designated workplace mentor will support your development throughout the programme. At the end of the apprenticeship, you will complete an End Point Assessment (EPA) conducted by an external assessment organisation (EPAO).
This is a Level 3 qualification. Knowledge modules include:

Support and Security Concepts.

As a Marketing & Web Assistant, you will be responsible for the creation of graphic and written content in line with the company's marketing strategies. You will be involved in social media, branding and video creation alongside the rest of the team. You will be provided with training to use and design with the company's web sales platform - Shopify and you will be expected to develop your web skills. Whilst some web design experience would be beneficial, they are more interested in a candidate with an eye for design and an eagerness to learn new skills.

As an "on-site" delivery, the apprentice will be supported on-site by an assigned tutor through online meetings, who will also meet regularly for reviews.
There will be no need to travel to a college as all training will take place in the workplace.
