About the Role: Systems Engineer
The Systems Engineer will be at the centre of designing, developing, and delivering advanced subsea systems. This role is highly varied and offers the chance to work across the full project lifecycle — from early concept development and technical proposals through to final delivery and client handover.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting both commercial bids and technical development projects, with a strong emphasis on the design and engineering of complex subsea systems. This includes developing innovative, high-quality system designs that achieve the right balance between performance, safety, and practicality. Working alongside senior engineers, project managers, and sales teams, you will transform customer requirements into detailed design concepts and technical solutions that not only meet project specifications but also contribute to the company’s long-term engineering and product innovation strategies.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the development of full-system technical solutions from concept to execution

Work closely with Chief Engineers on innovative and bespoke equipment solutions

Qualifications & Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Proven experience in design engineering for low-volume, high-value equipment
Strong technical knowledge of deck equipment, hydraulics, electrical systems, controls, and software
Exposure to cross-disciplinary engineering fields such as structural, hydraulic, and subsea
Skilled in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
Offshore or maritime sector experience (desirable but not essential)
Creative, detail-driven, and able to meet tight project deadlines

Role Overview of the Piping Design Engineer
The Piping Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, layout, and development of process piping systems across a range of projects. A new opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Support Engineer to join a growing electronics manufacturing team in Farnborough. This role is ideal for someone with strong practical electronics experience who enjoys a mix of hands-on problem solving, technical support, and working closely with customers and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support quotation activities by reviewing RFQs and drawings, preparing costed quotations and bills of materials for electronic and cable assemblies, and identifying suitable alternative components for obsolete or long-lead parts (including ERP data entry).
- Provide day-to-day technical support to resolve documentation and manufacturing issues within the Electronics Workshop and across the wider business.
- Assist with testing, fault-finding and inspection of assemblies to meet customer requirements, drawings and specifications (typically to IPC-610/620 Class 2 or 3).

Due to successful growth plans, a Medical Devices organization based in Cambridge is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the development and improvement of life-saving Medical Devices.
Collaborating closely with other industry experts, such as electronics design engineers, software engineers, physicists, and other Medical Devices specialists, you will tackle some of the most complex challenges in the development of new Medical Technologies.
Ideally, you will have a background in developing new Medical Devices throughout the entire design life cycle, adhering to ISO 13485 standards.
