The Role of the Weighbridge Operator:
As the Weighbridge Operator you’ll be joining a team of 15 Operatives at the companies Manchester Asphalt Plant.
A busy plant, the Manchester site has 3 fitters and a rail discharge which see’s in 7 deliveries a week.
The role of Weighbridge Operator will see you carry out the operation of the Weighbridge.
You’ll work closely with your fellow colleagues to ensure your Weighbridge duties are carried out whilst maintaining a high standard of health and safety.
This role is working on a shift basis of: Early one week and late the next. The Early shift is: 5:30am- 1:30pm, Late is: 8am- 4:45pm Monday to Friday. Working a Saturday 6am-2pm or a Sunday 7am-12pm. Weekends will be rotational, and you’ll know in advance what shift you’re working.
As the Weighbridge Operator you may be required to work nights on customer request.

The Ideal Person for the Weighbridge Operator:
Experience of working as a Weighbridge Operator in a similar production environment e.g. Asphalt, Concrete, aggregates etc would be desirable. However, experience of Weighbridge operations from any sector will be considered.
Will have a good understanding of Health and Safety.
Good communication skills and teamwork are required.

Essential Job Functions:
As part of the E-Commerce team, enter skus in multiple retailer proprietary systems: set up skus, enter and maintain sku online content including product families, marketing copy, marketing bullets, regulatory information, product images, videos and other assets Populate and maintain custom retailer templates to supply accurate product specifications and attribute values Perform routine audits of sku online content Maintain online content for retailers including sku availability, pricing & regulatory status Assist NAE in development of a common database for content management Make recommendations to help drive revenue with enhanced product content, promotions, etc. Maintain and update product inventory file(s) in retailer fulfillment systems Update retailer e-comm systems with order cancellations and revised back-order dates Manage Rust-Oleum's performance for on-time delivery, ASN timing, fill rates, and score carding metrics to ensure Rust-Oleum compliance Assist with sales reporting and sales trends as needed Develop presentations using PowerPoint Attend meetings and prepare short presentations as needed Perform other special projects as needed

Hold a current Gas Safe Card (Domestic and Commercial).

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: This Senior Continuous Improvement Leader will drive and execute continuous improvement efforts at the manufacturing plant level across multiple facilities in the organization by collaborating with plant personnel to promote, improve and maintain our operational excellence systems (ex: MS168) in alignment with corporate strategy and site-specific goals. The Senior Continuous Improvement Leader will be required to leverage available data, Six Sigma projects, and other lean tools to deliver effective initiatives across the organization to positively impact the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the manufacturing sites as well as corporate functions/departments to determine where the most significant areas of improvement exist and develop projects from those opportunities. This role will require candidates to support 3 or 4 properties and manage support workers around the Kent area.
