However, we might ask you to respond to support tickets from time to time, so the ability to clearly, professionally,and effectively communicate is important.The role:

Technical Responsibilities
To develop new functionality for our SaaS products in line with specifications supplied by Directors, using onlytechnologies approved by your manager.To use your judgement and experience to code as efficiently as possible.To fix any bugs reported within our SaaS products.To test any code thoroughly before it reaches the Internal Review stage.To notify your line manager of any possible delays that could prevent you from meeting internal deadlines.To ensure the codebase remains clean and well documented.To minimise and discuss the risk of technical debt.To optimise code for performance and scalability.To commit and push to Git repositories as frequently as possible.
General Duties
To support other Developers in carrying out their day to day activities by offering a reasonable level of help and advice,drawing upon your experience.To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required and authorised by a Director.To take the opportunity to promote the work of Humble.To attend regular one to ones with your manager.To attend any relevant training courses as required by your manager.To attend team meetings, as required, during core hours.To accurately record time taken to complete any project/task.To keep the company 's chosen project management tool up to date with your activity.To communicate frequently and clearly with other team members so that relevant people are aware of your current status at all times.To follow our core values.

Agentic AI Development
Design, build, and iterate on agentic AI workflows — autonomous systems that can plan, reason, and execute multi-step tasks.
Integrate LLMs and AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or equivalent) into BFT's product ecosystem.
Develop agent tool integrations, memory systems, and feedback loops to improve agent performance over time.
Collaborate with the AWS Engineer to deploy and scale agentic systems on cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with the F/E Engineer and Product Developer on user-facing agentic features in the beanies stream.
Research & Innovation
Monitor developments in agentic AI, LLMs, and multi-agent systems, bringing relevant innovations into BFT's product thinking.
Evaluate new AI tools, frameworks, and APIs, producing recommendations and proof-of-concepts for the product team.
Contribute to BFT's agentic AI strategy, working with the CPO and CTO to define the technical roadmap.
Quality, Safety & Responsible AI
Design agentic systems with safety, reliability, and predictability as core requirements.
Define testing frameworks and quality metrics for evaluating agent performance and reliability.
Ensure agentic systems comply with AI ethics principles, data regulations, and BFT's governance frameworks.
Role Requirements
Technical Requisites
Interest in large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI agent architectures.
Interest in agentic or multi-agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, OpenAI Assistants, or equivalent).
Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML libraries.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) for deploying AI systems.
Understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector databases, and memory systems.
Experience with RPA or automation tooling is desirable.
Knowledge of responsible AI principles and AI safety practices.
