We are currently recruiting for a Semi Skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join a growing and well-established business near Heckmondwike
This Semi Skilled Mechanic role will involve dismantling and removing modifications from light commercial vehicles (LCVs). The successful Semi Skilled Mechanic will work with hand and power tools to remove previously fitted vehicle equipment and components safely and efficiently.
This position would suit somebody with previous experience working as a Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Mechanical Fitter or somebody who has worked within a breakers or salvage yard environment.
Candidates from HGV, PCV, hydraulics or general mechanical fitting backgrounds are also encouraged to apply. Full training will be provided for the right Semi Skilled Mechanic.
Key Responsibilities of the Semi Skilled Mechanic
Dismantling vehicle modifications and fitted components from LCV vehicles
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Removing and sorting reusable vehicle parts and components
Supporting workshop operations and maintaining a clean working environment
