Transport Planner, Liverpool
Resolve Recruitment are working with large road haulage company who specialise in container deliveries and collections. Duer to growth, they now seek an experienced Transport Planner to work from their busy site in Liverpool.
Overview:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Transport Planner. The Transport Planner will be responsible for day-to-day transportation planning and operations management. This includes tasks such as creating transport models, managing transportation systems, and effective communication with stakeholders.
MUST HAVE:
Min 4-5 years’ experience planning experience, including planning both UK and Ireland deliveries
Understanding of UK import/export experience
Understanding of port processes
Experience in Container and Curtain planning, including the container Hubs (DP World eg) and releases
Working with clients generating additional revenue opportunities
Knowledge on WTD and EU drivers rules
Driver management experience
C50 trucks (class 1)
Working as part of a team of 3-4
Flexibility in Hours may be required from time to time
Inhouse planning system
Hours:
Working Monday to Friday approximately 0700 to 1500
Package:
A starting salary of between £30-40,000 PA

Lead nationwide plant deliveries with large HGV fleet.
Plan & execute efficient plant machinery transport to sites.
Coordinate delivery/collection (deadlines, vehicles, drivers).

Monitor transport providers & resolve service issues.
Communicate with internal/external stakeholders (deliveries).
