My client holds a number of key commercial contracts across the UK within the Construction and Building Services sector. They are currently searching for an Assistant Bookkeeper to join the team and take on various financial responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have customer service or administrator experience with a hunger to develop their finance skills through training. The Role: Trainee Bookkeeper
- Working closely with the Senior Bookkeeper and training within the following areas:
- Purchase Ledger Receipt invoices, input, allocate
- Answering incoming phone calls for the accounts department
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors via email
- Adding and updating new suppliers/subcontractors to the online system
- Entering Statements
- Reconcile card statements
- Weekly Payroll - training will be provided
- Managing post
Experience Required - Trainee Bookkeeper:
- Experience working within an administrative or customer service role
- Holds a Grade 4 or above in Maths
- IT literate and able to operate Excel or an online CRM package
- Able to commute to Faversham, Kent on a daily basis
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus

My client holds a number of key commercial contracts across the UK. They are currently searching for a new Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their team to continue providing the best possible service to their customers.
They are looking for an engineer to cover Aberdeen and surrounding areas with bi-weekly trips to Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Ideal candidate locations could include: Aberdeen, Dufftown, Grantown-on-Spey, Aviemore, Banchory, Westhill or surrounding areas.
Other job titles could include: Facilities Maintenance Engineer, Facilities Engineer, Maintenance Assistant, Mobile Plumber, Mobile FM Engineer, Building Services Engineer or Mobile Handyperson.
The Role: Facilities Maintenance Assistant:
- To assist the maintenance team in ensuring that services and facilities within the site operate effectively, efficiently and safely
- To assist the maintenance team in the preparation, implementation and monitoring of weekly, monthly and annual planned preventative maintenance schedules
- Day-to-day decisions to ensure that services and facilities within the site operate effectively, efficiently and safely
- Carrying out general repairs on anything from leaky pipes and taps to fixing doors and hinges
- Basic electrical fault finding e.g. changing plug sockets, isolating faults or wiring a fuse
- Ensure that resources are used efficiently
- Ensure standards of work are maintained and tasks are completed within the given timescale
Experience Required - Facilities Maintenance Assistant:
- Has a minimum of 2 years of Facilities Maintenance Experience such as site repairs, and site labouring including plumbing repairs, basic electrical fault-finding, fabric repairs and carpentry tasks.
- Holds a plumbing qualification or has equivalent practical hands-on experience repairing or fault finding on plumbing appliances.
- Able to work weekends as part of the on-call rota 1 week in 3
- Ability to work under own initiative and also as a member of a team
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to take any further appropriate training
- Highly motivated
- Full clean driving licence
Package Details - Facilities Maintenance Engineer:
- Up to £14 per hour pay rate
- 45 hours working week Monday - Friday with 1 hr lunch break
- Travel time included
- 1.5x OT
- Additional £200 on-call payment 1 week in 3
- Company van and Fuel card
