Overview:
Dealing with claims and incoming telephone enquiries received from customers, dealerships and the end users and providing a consistently superior customer service levels at all times by meeting or exceeding our customer’s expectations. Using their expert technical knowledge to authorise claims and negotiate claims payments for mechanical breakdown, parts and labour rates, which can often involve very high values.
Duties:
To ensure all telephone claims are processed proactively and efficiently within the limits of authority and in line with company policy and ensure claimants are informed of the status of the claim - where a claim is rejected or adjusted.
Where requested to process claims payments within the limits of authority and in line with company policy and the terms and condition of the product.
Using their technical expertise to make claims decisions.
To deliver a consistently superior customer experience, ensuring that we have met all the customer’s needs, answered all their questions and that then customer fully understands our decisions.
To conform to all company policies in force at all times e.g. the security of corporate information, electronic mail policy, computer usage policy.
Required Experience:
Holds a City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 certificate or equivalent in Motor Vehicle Engineering (Essential).
Previous Experience of working in a Motor Vehicle Engineering environment (Essential).
Evidence of working in a FCA regulated environment (Desirable but not essential).
Able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills (Essential).
Evidence of working in a customer focused environment (Desirable but not essential).
Hours & package:
Great basic salary of £28,875 per annum
Monday to Friday - between 0830 and 1730 - 37.5 hours per week

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all dispenser equipment in the field. Ability to visit and evaluate a plant to order the proper dispenser equipment needed to do the job right (such as conduit for electrical, hose lengths, position of dispenser, etc.) Install the dispenser equipment and help assist the customer in matching our dispenser to their plant (such as counts, added products, etc.). When the install is complete tech is responsible to clean up any mess that was created during the visit. Will be responsible to pick up any equipment in the field that needs to be removed, and returned to a Euclid facility. Responsible to wash out any tanks immediately upon being returned at the Euclid Chemical plant with the guidance of the plant manager on the waste product. Willingness and ability to restore any used equipment that can be reused. Will be required to do paperwork (such as DOT Certifications, Expense Reports, Daily or Weekly Reports, etc.) The DOT Certifications will be done professionally on Euclid Letterhead and handed to the customer. May be asked to transfer safe amounts of material from location to location (such as raw materials for concrete testing, admixture, fiber, etc.). Required to order equipment and install that equipment at the designated customer location and maintain that equipment after installation. Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment when needed. Assist in state inspections where necessary. Respond to customer issues with those dispensers when needed. Assure that their truck is properly equipped with the necessary parts to fix or repair the equipment.

Work in the Research & Development Laboratory Fire Resistance Testing Group, testing and evaluating fireproofing product applied to test articles. Reports directly to the Lab Manager.
Essential Functions:
Handle and prepare all test samples for product application (welding, capping, thermocouple installation, etc.). Able to properly handle large scale test samples (W-flange beams and columns, hollow steel sections, angles, channels, corrugated steel decking, etc.). Able to learn rigging techniques of steel samples for proper storage and handling. Install test samples into large scale furnace following proper safety and laboratory procedures. Perform testing of samples per nationally and internationally recognized test standards. Evaluate results and report them accordingly to Lab Manager or more senior personnel. Remove all test articles from furnace after testing. Keep area clean and organized at all times. Perform additional duties as assigned Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, 1-year college, or minimum 2 years fabrication/welding shop experience. Welding/Fabricating Skills: Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Knowledge of steel fabrication techniques, including but not limited to, cutting and brazing using Oxy-Acetylene torch and plasma cutter.
Desired Qualification:
Knowledge of welding techniques, including but not limited to, gas metal arc welding (MIG) and shield metal arc welding (Stick). Tungsten inert gas (TIG) not required; however, a plus. Certified Welder certificate not required; however, a plus Proof of welding skills will be required as a pre-requisite for position consideration.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 100 pounds; exposure to chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, Acrylics, Silicates, and certain inorganic compounds. Personal protective equipment will be utilized as required by internal lab procedures. Must pass annual respirator medical evaluation and pulmonary function test as required by OSHA. Overview:

The Role
We are seeking technicians who will be responsible for the technical uptime of our electric Remotely Operated Vehicles (eROVs) and USV’s within the European and African region.
You will support project mobilisations, equipment installation, equipment calibrations, equipment maintenance and technical fault finding. Therefore, you will get the opportunity to work hands on with the remote equipment underpinning the transition from conventional survey to remote and uncrewed survey.
Travel to project sites will be required for maintaining eROV systems, launch and recovery equipment, vessel mounted survey sensors and servicing of the vessel itself ensuring that components are operational to conduct investigation and inspections in accordance with the project deliverables.

Carboline is seeking a Technician at our Research Facility in St. Louis, MO. This person will assist the Research and Development laboratory group in developing, modifying and evaluating corrosion resistant protective coatings, linings, fireproofing, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to perform routine lab projects, do quality control testing, grade test panels, perform paint calculations and maintain lab book notes under the guidance of a supervisor.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, 1-year college Chemistry or 1-3 years Lab experience.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 50 pounds; exposure to chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, Acrylics, and certain inorganic compounds. Personal protective equipment would be utilized. Must pass annual respirator medical evaluation and pulmonary function test as required by OSHA.
Essential Functions:
Use laboratory instruments and equipment and follow established testing procedures. Enter organized, neat, and accurate entries into laboratory notebooks. Grade test panels according to established procedures. Gather information or data in reference to trouble reports. Be familiar with routine laboratory computer functions such as report writing, formula calculations, graphics programs and inventory searching, specific for individual laboratory areas. Write project reports in cooperation with supervisor. Be familiar with the location, use and understand Material Safety Data Sheets with respect to raw materials and finished goods. Understand and comply with safety procedures and practices in effect. Learn how to apply coatings by spray, roller and brush. Possess interpersonal skills necessary to interface, in a positive manner, with peers, supervisors, and other departments. Be able to manufacture, and evaluate quality control tests of, lab scale batches of paint according to prescribed formulas. Additional duties and responsibilities as specified by supervisors. Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations and immediately reporting all injuries and incidents to your supervisor. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner.
