The Field Support Specialist works closely with the Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to support and increase the sales activity in the Sales Representative's region. Maintains accounts through prospecting, closing, and providing solid market presence including serving customers.
Developing Business
Preparing and/or distributing marketing materials Inspection and evaluation of the property Preparing roof drawings and sketches Preparing scope of work documents Preparing proposals Attending sales calls Pricing patch and repair jobs Providing technical expertise Attending meetings with the architect, contractor and/or owner
Managing Accounts
Identifying, analyzing, resolving problems Preparing reports to owners regarding the condition of roofs. Project site visits to monitor installation of Tremco roofing products Identification of any aspect of installation that does not comply with specifications Review and resolve concerns of architects, contractors and owners regarding Tremco's installation instructions Coordinating visits with contractors Preparing reports on progress and problems for the Sales Representative. QA/ QA+ inspections Tremcare Gold Service (periodic visual inspection with minor repairs being addressed where detected on Tremco warranted roofs only). Identifying and troubleshooting problems arising during installation and the lifecycle of the roof May occasionally perform patch and repair work for small leaks that can be performed quickly after identifying the leak and other infrequent, limited physical labor. Thorough understanding and application of roofing and waterproofing contracting standards. Experience with MS Word, Excel and familiarity with CADD Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and technical information, e.g. professional journals and periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to draft reports, business correspondence and similar documents. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, contractors, and architects. Ability to communicate business and technical information (e.g. information relating to status of projects, remediation plans, and customer concerns) to Sales Representative. The role
Fugro are now seeking an Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Consulting Specialist to join the Europe and Africa Geoconsulting team based in either Wallingford, Oxfordshire, Louvaine-la-Neuve, Belgium or Nootdorp, Netherlands. Reporting to the Department Head for Geophysics Geoconsulting, your responsibilities will be two-fold; to coordinate regional screening studies as to the UXO risk levels for offshore wind installations, advising on UXO risk mitigation measures and secondly to define optimal technical solution in terms of UXO survey for marine sites, where UXO is identified as a risk, this will include working with many internal stakeholders and external clients to agree the best technical campaigns.
Who we’re looking for:
A degree or MSc in History, Archaeology, Explosive Engineering, Earth Sciences or Geotechnical Engineering.
Previous experience as a UXO Consultant is essential.
Chartership or actively pursuing chartership through appropriate professional institutions to support ALARP assessment.
Willingness to travel overseas.

The Role
Key purpose of the role is to support the leadership of building control function, through provision of specialist technical advice to support the delivery of organisational priorities, and to ensure the Council is able to meet its legal obligations.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Technical Application Specialist ensures proper application of Commercial Sealant & Waterproofing products in accordance with company and industry guidelines by providing both on-site and office-based problem resolution assistance. This individual is a technical liaison between the business and Tremco's field-based internal and external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide or obtain accurate and timely product application, qualification, and/or troubleshooting services to internal colleagues and external business partners Assist with general on-site product application, training, and general substrate review. Assist with the generation and maintenance of technical documentation and collateral with various internal departments. Examples include application instructions, technical data sheets, technical marketing collateral, product training programs, 3rd party testing/validation reports, and other product assets. Assist in the collection of laboratory data forproject and/or product-specific testing.
