GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
WTI Commercial Façade Foreman is responsible for the oversite and performance of safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI Commercial Building Envelope business. Safety is our number one priority and will be embedded into every discussion, meeting, and project. As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the WTI Foreman is focused on safety, crew management, and efficient execution of all WTI Projects assigned to them. Travel will be required. It is the responsibility of the WTI Commercial Foreman to deliver timely and the highest quality service to all our WTI customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively administers and enforces Company safety policy and program to minimize accidents affecting employees, the public, and property. This includes responsibility for conducting safety meetings, complying with governmental regulations, reporting and investigating accidents, and planning site-specific job safety procedures, including: Conduct the daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project with all onsite project personnel (Sales Rep, Customer, WTI Supt & Crew, etc.). Inspect and ensure the safety of surroundings, equipment, and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns. Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit it to the Supervisors as applicable. Ensure all project communication is completed prior to the start of any WTI project. This includes but is not limited to communication with: Sales Rep on weekly/daily schedule WTI crew members to discuss the scope of work and daily tasks The customer prior to arrival, upon arrival, and upon completion of daily work WTI Supervisor on safety, schedule changes, project and crew updates, etc. Efficient project management includes managing crew start and end times and production rates and ensuring tools and materials are available to safely and efficiently complete the assigned project. Complete the project per the scope of work, design, and specification of contract & engineering documents. Complete an end-of-day and/or end-of-project walk-through to ensure quality repairs and address any items prior to leaving the job site. Before and after pictures will be sent to the Sales Rep, and information will be included in daily project status reports. These items will include detailed work performed updates, materials consumed, and supplies purchases, which are all recorded daily. Supervises, directs, and coordinates the scheduling and execution of projects in assigned areas. This responsibility includes job start-up, job execution in accordance with contract specifications, job shut-down, and manpower scheduling, all consistent with the planned costs of the job. Manages field personnel, including, but not limited to, recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and retaining the quality and number of production personnel needed to meet operating demands. This responsibility also includes laying off personnel, disciplinary action, employee assistance, and handling union matters relative to employees. Ensure that all WTI Field Labor will have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer. Responsible for tracking and monitoring project inventory. Maintains the highest quality on-site customer relations in projecting a positive image. Has knowledge/understanding and assures assigned projects comply with all governmental rules and regulations affecting work sites and employees, i.e. OSHA, DOT, EEO/Affirmative Action, EPA, Wage and Hour, etc. Manage, monitor, and document the performance of WTI Commercial Field Labor and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues. Consult with the WTI Commercial Supervisor and Human Resources as needed. Contributes to operations by supplying accurate and timely job information, including daily job logs, job file documentation, and compiling information for billing the customer. Provides management with the earliest possible notification of real and potential job problems. Accepts responsibility for the care, custody, and purchasing of company equipment, materials, tools, and other assets as assigned by the WTI Commercial Supervisor. Trains employees in proper material and equipment usage, maintenance, and storage. Coordinates and monitors the performance of on-site subcontractors, where appropriate. Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Commercial Business Manager. Maintains ethical business conduct
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of progressive experience in a similar role, including leading teams and technical solutions, training, troubleshooting, etc. Must be thoroughly familiar with standard façade construction, including masonry, EIFS, Stucco, Curtainwall, metal panels, concrete, plaster, and other forms of facade systems and how to properly repair them using Tremco CPG Materials. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment. Support capital project requirements for review and submission to management including costs, schedule, and procedures. Direct, review, and approve product design and changes consistent with Management of Change (MOC) procedures. Analyze annual utility expenditures and develop plan to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and work with the maintenance crew to implement the needed preventative measures. A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with plant safety practices, chemical processes, equipment maintenance, statistical applications, and equipment operations are also required. Automation and, or chemical manufacturing process experience i.e. PLCs, VFDs, pumps, and mixers.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of the practical application of sound engineering and chemical plant practices. This includes applying engineering principles and techniques to process design for the production of products and intermediates. Knowledge of arithmetic, statistical methods, "Lean" concepts, ISO procedures, and their applications. Ability to apply Excel, Word, and SAP applications to daily job responsibilities with an emphasis on system-driven solutions. Supervisory experience of team members preferred.

ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:
The primary result expected from the Floating Night Shift Supervisor is to supervise the people at the facility and ensure the safe manufacture of products. This is done by organizing and executing the shift production work schedule (as dictated via the production plan), to maintain a safe, efficient and organized working environment, and to provide leadership/guidance to all shift personnel. This person will work in conjunction with both the 2nd shift and 3rd shift supervisors, when they are present and also cover either 2nd or 3rd shift, as needed when the supervisors are on vacation or call off sick.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ensures that all plant operations adhere to DayGlo business and RPM corporate EH&S requirements, procedures, reporting and programs. Direct and coordinate the activities of all employees on the shift, in all departments. Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. Ensure the planning and scheduling of orders for plant production to maximize use of manpower and fulfill customer service requirements. Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs. Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between plants. Confer with management and others to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances. Interpret specifications, work orders, and company policies and procedures for employees. Gathers information, completes, and distributes end of shift reports. Enforce work rules and administer discipline as required. Apply MS-168/Continuous Improvement principles to all aspects of the manufacturing process to drive improvement in production efficiency, product quality, and employee engagement. Ensure effective MS-168 Tier 1 meetings across departments. Ensure all departments are maintained in a clean, orderly and efficient fashion through utilization of 5S principles. Train, motivate, and manage the hourly production staff within the manufacturing process. Oversee performance skills matrix updates, initiates commendations, improvement plans and disciplinary action, as required. Work with/coordinates efforts between Quality Control, Engineering, R&D, and Maintenance departments for continual improvement of production efficiency and quality. Prepares and maintains accurate data reporting and analysis, as required, and provides management with appropriate information.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
3 - 5 years departmental/plant experience in a Chemical manufacturing environment, preferably with liquid tint dispersions. Must be a role model from an EH&S standpoint. We are a specialist manufacturer of complex high end technical products based near Luton, Bedfordshire. We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist with experience of setting, operating and programming to join our workshop team on a double-day shift pattern.
We offer a salary of £41.5k (including shift allowance) plus a generous benefits package and paid overtime will be available.
This role will involve the manufacture of components and sub-assemblies from engineering drawings using various machine tools, so an ability to interpret drawings and specifications as well as previous experience of setting and operating a Bridgeport CNC are all key.
The majority of the work will be one-offs and small batch volumes. Components range in size and complexity from micro components up to large multi-part fabrications. You will also be required to manufacture and modify tooling such as jigs and moulds.
We are looking for motivated Engineers who are comfortable working to high tolerances, have strong problem solving skills, and are able to offer ideas for improvements for both parts and manufacturing processes.
We welcome applications from candidates who have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications. Good communication skills are important for working within the team environment and understanding safety procedures, as are time management skills. We are flexible on the industry sector from which the successful candidate will come from so long as they are able to demonstrate the skills and experience required for this position.

Carboline is seeking an EH&S Specialist located at our manufacturing facility in Lake Charles, LA. This person would be responsible for implementing and managing the environmental, health, safety, security, and emergency response programs for the local production and distribution facility. We are looking for a dynamic trainer and behavior-based safety implementer for this facility. This position will spend a lot of time on the production floor interacting with employees and supervisors identifying improvements in best practices and improving safety within processes. PSM experience, hazardous waste management and someone that has worked within a Chemical processing facility is preferred!
Requirements:
• Minimum of a BS degree in a safety, regulatory, or chemical related discipline or equivalent experience. (Industrial Safety preferred.) • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in safety, regulatory, and/or chemical fields. • Strong working knowledge of the OSHA process safety management regulations (PSM). • Proven experience as safety manager. • Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies. • Experience in data analysis and risk assessment. • Excellent organizational and motivational skills. • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires some physical activity including but not limited to standing/kneeling/walking/sitting on concrete for approximately 50% of work day. This position could also require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day. Lifting up to 50 pounds; exposure to dust and chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, Acrylics, and certain inorganic compounds. • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal EH&S regulations including written programs, record keeping, reports, inspections, monitoring, testing, and training. • Establish local EH&S goals and objectives along with the timely and accurate reporting mechanisms. • Coordinate the investigation of incidents (including near misses and losses) and accidents to determine root causes and assists in the development of corrective and preventive action plans. • Serve as the site liaison to local emergency response providers. • Develop and conduct environmental, safety and health training programs to ensure employee's knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety and environmental regulations. • Serve as Facility Security Officer to implement and maintain facility security requirements as required by the Department of Homeland Security. • Conduct EH&S reviews for new product development, facility modification, product manufacturing modifications and new equipment/machinery installations per the OSHA PSM standard. • Create and update compliance-related standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job hazard analysis (JHAs). • Administer and monitor industrial hygiene sampling and communicate exposure information and/or personal protective equipment requirements to employees. • Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics. • Maintain the health & safety statistics database • Provide coaching and support to employees, supervision, and management to proactively address safety, health, and environmental risks and concerns, • Initiate or assist in efforts to continuously improve the overall working environment in the facility. • Provide technical assistance, training and work direction to colleagues in other departments. • Analyze problems, identifying alternative solutions, and implementing recommendations in support of the Company safety goals and objectives. • Identify potential or actual areas of non-compliance through regular auditing and inspections and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken. • Review and develop profiles for classification of hazardous waste. • Responsible for timely disposal of process waste and waste finished goods. • Provide support to the Corporate Director of EH&S. • Perform other duties as needed to support the overall mission of the facility and the company.
