You will be working with a project team to support the implementation of mechanical equipment – this would suit a superintendent experienced in overseeing mechanical installations and commissioning, ensuring equipment is installed correctly and in compliance with project specifications.
Key skills required – Contract Mechanical Superintendent - Yorkshire:
Proven experience of the full life cycle of projects, from initial design support through to validation and commissioning.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment, with a focus on installation and commissioning of Pipework and Steels.

Specification Development Stage:
Works with the Construction Manager and Sales Representative to establish a scope of work for the project. Completion of specification requests and related documents. Responsible for specification review as required by the Construction Manager.
Pre-Proposal Stage:
Conducts Pre-Proposal Meeting and distributes completed Pre-Proposal Meeting documentation to all applicable parties. Assist the Construction Manager in reviewing proposals. Prepare Proposal Documents as directed by the Construction Manager.
Pre-Construction Stage:

The role
As an Offshore Inspection Engineer you will be responsible for assisting onshore or offshore project preparation activities including online data recording systems, offline data editing and quality-control for structural and pipeline inspections. You will ensure the safe, efficient, and profitable execution of all ROV platform and vessel-based pipeline and structural inspections.
QC of Inspection data recording, quality control of real-time video data and ensuring that, where required, all data sheets are completed accurately. Ensure anomalies identified during online and offline inspections are accurately recorded and reported to the Inspection Coordinator, Superintendent/OVM and Client in a timely manner determined by the magnitude of the finding and anomaly criteria.
Assist in project reporting and delivery in accordance with Fugro and client specifications and document control parameters; document any variations to the workscope or procedures and inform the Client Deliverables department. Must have proficient computer skills and can competently use Microsoft Office products. Must be able to keep project records and interface with owners, subcontractors, and Company management. Must be able to travel extensively.
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $70,000 and $95,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Is responsible for managing all Self-Perform Projects and the associated customers (Including GC and large-scale P&R, TremCare, etc). This involves working with the Project Foreman, Superintendent, Construction Manager, and Sales Reps associated with the project, to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule and manage self-perform crews via daily interaction and oversight of crew foreman. When subcontractors are necessary or present on the majority of self-perform projects, act as liaison to CM for boots-on-the-ground subcontractor oversight (as needed). Implement and understand project administration requirements. Create, update, and communicate project schedules and updates. Control expectations and challenges to keep the project on schedule and running efficiently. Ensure Quality Control/Quality Management of all scope items. Verify that all project work complies with contract documents. Be responsible for resolving project issues and problems, providing coordination between self- perform crews, subcontractors, Sales Reps, and owner operations, affirming specifications are followed in accordance with Tremco standards. Ensure the region's profitability by effectively managing the team and processes using the available tools, including collaboration with the RBM. Generate reports on project status and ensure owner satisfaction. Aid in takeoff of opportunities and creation of scope and quantity specifics for project opportunities, as needed. Participate in CG/CM, Sales Team, and Ops Management-related coordination and collaboration.
