Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting a number of School Nurses for an established nationwide client covering school nursing services across Warwickshire.
The service is successfully expanding and looking to recruit a number of nurses on a temporary and/or permanent basis. The service delivers outcome focused and key elements of the Healthy Child Programme with the objective of improving the health and wellbeing of school-aged children and young people in Warwickshire and reduce health inequalities.
As a school staff nurse, your priority would be helping children, young people and families achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes. You'll carry out a range of assessments, interventions and public health initiatives, working both independently and as part of a multi-agency team around the family. Safeguarding children is an integral part of the role.
You will provide information, advice and support to deliver an effective service that makes a difference. The wellbeing of children, young people and families is central to everything you do.
Hours:
The service operates Monday to Friday, both full and part time hours will be considered.
Pay and Salary
Temporary: Rates Negotiable +£250 registration bonus after first 150 hours work.
Permanent: from £28,395 - £35,126 per annum.
Person Specification
The successful application must be a qualified Nurse currently registered with the NMC.
The successful application must have previous experience working as a school nurse or with children and adolescents.
The successful applicant must be willing to work face to face on a community basis and therefore will require a full clear UK driving license and car suitable for work purposes.

The service supports children, young people and their families focusing on early intervention and delivered on a community and educational setting.
The successful applicant will working within a Children and Young People (CYP) Mental Health Support Team who have bases in Greater Preston, Chorley, South Ribble and West Lancashire.
The service offer early intervention health and wellbeing services for children and young people using a wide range of creative and dynamic methods of engagement, including digital interventions, across community and educational settings.
The service supports CYP ad their families or carers providing extra capacity for Early Intervention support withing Schools and College settings within 3 core areas:
Providing evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing issues
Support designated senior mental health leads in each setting
Provide timely advice to school and college staff and parents as required
As a Supervising Practitioner your role will involve supporting and guiding Educational Mental Health Practitioners as well as delivering training, interventions and consultation to children, young people, families and educational staff.
Our Mental Health Support Team will work with 58 schools and colleges across the Preston, Chorley, South Ribble and West Lancashire areas. They will help pupils with issues like anxiety, low mood, and behavioural difficulties.
Pay
Permanent Supervising Practitioner: £35,665 - £43,603 p.a.
Monday – Friday 09:00-17:00 Friday 09:00 – 14:00.

Person Specification:
The successful applicant must be a Qualified Social Worker, Registered Mental Health Nurse or Occupational Therapist fully registered with their professional body
