The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a housing environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to provide technical expertise on building fire safety in particular the supervision of programme delivery to district-wide FRA work actions programmes which achieve the highest standards of fire safety,
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Supervise contractors and specialist suppliers during the delivery of FRA works action programmes ensuring comprehensive records of installation and robust handover of completed works.
Inspect work in progress and provide technical guidance and ongoing support to installers.
Undertake weekly reviews of work in progress and report overall progress against programme highlighting risks and issues with detailed mitigation.
Ensure approved quality standards are being maintained at each stage of installation and accurate records are being maintained.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require an ONC/HND in Built Environment as well as a Fire Safety qualification – Level 2 NVQ diploma – Passive Fire Protection or equivalent.
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering targets and goals within operational plans.
Previous experience of data input and maintenance of databases and/or Contact Management Systems.
A good level of computer literacy to interrogate various software packages.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £23 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineering 0 - 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment. Six Sigma/lean manufacturing experience. Understanding of process control methods, flowmeters, level monitors, and other process controls within a batch manufacturing process. Ability to read and interpret process drawings (process flow diagrams and P&ID's). PLC with ladder logic analysis. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. PC usage with MS Office Suite (AutoCAD experience a plus), strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills both written and verbal.

Technical Compliance Manager Tiverton C£45 - 50,000 DOE plus Excellent Benefits My client, a highly successful food / drinks manufacturer, is looking to recruit a Technical Compliance manager for one of their sites. The successful Compliance Manager will be the main compliance representative during customer audits whether that be for BRC or Retailer audits. You will report to the Head of Compliance at the company's sister site This is a key role within the company, and you will be the main contact for technical queries. As a key auditor we are looking for someone who can build relationships with the site managers and the Quality / Technical manager, working closely to help drive standards across the group. Compliance Manager Key Duties will include: ·Auditing, carry out internal auditing, BRC and customer audits. ·Health & Safety - You would be the main site H&S representative. ·Manage Pest Control ·Technical support, complete technical specifications, ensure retailer website alerts are responded to, primary contact for retailer visits, ·Legal Compliance. ·HACCP leader on site Key skills for the role: Fundamentally the successful Compliance Manager will have previous compliance / auditing experience including BRC knowledge gained whilst working in the drinks, food or pharmaceutical sector and experience in delivering training courses. ·Experience of auditing and dealing with auditors in particular BRC/GFSI ·Experience of delivering training courses ·Legal Labelling experience ·Experience of HACCP systems (Level 3) ·Experience of Quality Management Systems. ·Experience of Food Safety Systems ·Desired experience of SAP systems ·Desired experience of managing people. ·Desired experience of Food Safety Culture systems.
