Act as the point of contact for customers and technical authorities for all technical documentation queries
Develop and manage publishing software tools required by the business
Main Responsibilities:
Meeting the requirements of applicable ATA specifications
Authoring and publishing documentation to high standards that serve the customer’s needs to service and maintain the companies range of products
Work with design data and guidance materials to produce quality and compliant documentation
Take responsibility of progress of technical publications documentations against project plan(s) to ensure documentations are available when expected and required by the customer
To ensure existing CMM’s are maintained, revision controlled and communicated with customers in a timely manner.
Build strong relationships both internally and externally with all relevant parties including but not limited to engineering, production, quality assurance, customers, suppliers, aircraft manufacturers, external (A)DOA organisations
Understand the product limitations based on airworthiness, certification basis and/or design, and ensure the documentations generated are a true representation of these limitations
Key Experience Requirements:
Ideally educated to a minimum HNC / HND level in a technical / engineering discipline
Previous experience working as a Technical Publications Engineer, ideally within an Aerospace / Aviation environment
Previous experience of authoring product publication with both Mechanical & Electrical Components
Good knowledge of publishing software and tools
Previous experience of Commercial Aviation and International Standards / Approvals and Certifications is highly desirable
Previous Experience of ISO9001 and AS9100

Defining the integration build and producing a build definition for generation of the software. Accepting software modules from software developers and produces software builds for loading onto the target hardware from software source code. Configuring the hardware environment, producing integration test specifications, conducting tests and recording details of any failures. Carrying out and reporting fault diagnosis relating to moderately complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of HNC in relevant subject or equivalent qualifications, plus considerable work experience in a relevant role. OR proven technical experience in own technical specialism.
Good Knowledge of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirement definition, design, programming / testing and implementation of major systems.
Good Experience with the following –
Visual Studio (Preferably 2022)
.Net Framework, .Net Core, ASP.Net
C#
Web services
Additional knowledge of any of the following would be desirable.
Experience working with High Volume systems
AWS or Azure – especially migrating complex applications from On-Prem to the Cloud
Python – Will have the opportunity to build your Python skills
XML (schemas, transformation), Json
Soap or Restful Services
WCF and ASMX Services
Web development MVC & JavaScript
Azure DevOps
Test tools – SOAPUI, Postman
