The role of Valve Technician:
To service and maintain a range of safety valves
- Perform routine Maintenance
- To work safely, effectively, and efficiently at all times considering all persons, plant, property and the environment.
- To carry out safety valve/level gauge services to include but not exclusively, refurbishment, calibration, repair, overhaul, servicing and finishing at customer's sites and in the workshop.
- To provide an online safety valve testing service (Tru-Test®) to customers
- To undertake any other reasonable relevant task/training that may be required within the engineering services department
- Work/communicate with all other members of the team to ensure that knowledge vital to the smooth operation of the department is transferred effectively.
- Fault finding/diagnostics
- Ensuring that works are carried out in compliance with current health, safety and environmental requirements
- Flexible with overnight stays when required
Key Skills / Experience Required:
- Experience in Mechanical assembly or the use of hand tools
- Previous experience of communicating with people on all levels
- Good communication skills with a range of individuals; customers to site operatives

Service Care Solutions have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative in Doncaster to join the Property Services team working for a local Housing Association.This role will involve carrying out routine storing, picking, packing and distribution of goods, materials and equipment in the store which will be used for work carried out at sites around Doncaster.
The team have an established department covering all aspects of warehousing from Goods In/Out, Yard Work, Operating FLT Trucks, and Administration duties. As a Warehouse Operative within this team you will be responsible for;
Ensuring that all incoming goods to the warehouse are unloaded and match the relevant paperwork.
Sorting and placing items on to the correct racks, shelves and rotating stock according to established working procedures.
Accurately pick goods from the warehouse, to ensure that orders are ready for delivery or collection at the allotted time, which will include updating any relevant electronic or paper based information/systems/records.
Accurately return any unused materials or items to the correct location within the warehouse that are no longer needed from orders including updating any relevant paperwork/systems.
Performing warehouse inventory controls via electronic/digital means.
Report any damaged or missing goods to Supervisors or the Warehouse Manager according to established working procedures.
Ensure that all items are stored safely in line with current standards laid down within health and safety legislation and in accordance with manufacturers’ requirements.
Carry out any stock takes and location checks as and when required.
Ensure that all documentation relating to the picking, storing and delivery of stock, tools and materials are systematically stored and are easily available for when the section is audited.
Undertake the duties of the Warehouse Assistant/Driver as and when the service requires which will include making deliveries and maintaining the safe movement of vehicles in and around the depot grounds.
Maintain the security of the Warehouse, Yard and any other containers that are managed by the team. This will include the unlocking and locking up of the depot, containers and yard as the service requires.
Ensure the safe movement of materials around the warehouse and yard. This will involve the use of a forklift vehicle.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full time hours Monday to Friday. You will be working a standard 37 hour week with potential to take overtime. For this role, you will need;

The Role
Key purpose of the role is to have detailed knowledge of structural issues associated with new build, extensions, remodelling and refurbishment of all building types* Domestic / Commercial / Schools / Sports Centres / Care Homes) including historic and listed buildings.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Environmental and contaminated land and property assessments including undertaking desk-based studies and procuring specialist site investigations, advising on flood risk and drainage strategies and undertaking land profiling exercises
Manage demolition contracts and land remediation schemes from feasibility stage to completion of works on site.
Preparing briefs/requirements for suppliers to complete major capital schemes from site suitability assessments, structural design and detailing, drainage design to completion of works on site.
Structural design i.e. reinforced concrete, composite structure, timber, masonry and structural steel. Structural design and feasibility assessments. Structural surveys and investigations including stability and condition assessments.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require knowledge of traditional and system-built properties including general advice on maintenance and repair.
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
A working knowledge of desk studies, site investigation
Long term monitoring and health and safety inspections of owned properties
Party Wall assessments and advice in accordance with the Party Wall Act

The Ideal Sommelier:
Must come from a fine dining environment with steady growth on your CVA sincere passion for the wine industry and hunger to be the best!Ability to create tasteful food and wine pairings in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills with tons of personality.Minimum WSET level 2 or equivalent and solid experience with Italian wines.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating and updating the wine list in coordination with chefs and the Head Sommelier.Recommending food and wine pairings.Advising guests on wines based on their personal tastes and food choices.Inform guests about different varieties of wines and prices.Ensure wines are served at the right temperature and within the proper glassware.Store open bottles properly to maintain strong taste.Manage the wine cellar and ensure its fully stocked.Train wait staff on available wines and specials.
