Risk Assessment:

Identify potential major accident hazards and scenarios and assess their likelihood and consequences.
Regulatory Compliance:
Your will be responsible for the update and submission of COMAH Safety Reports, associated studies and risk assessments.
Stay up-to-date with COMAH regulations and other relevant safety standards.
Ensure the organization's compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
Engage with local HSE officers in the island and the UK to ensure safety reports and actions and HSE officers are informed.
Emergency Planning:
Develop and maintain emergency response plans to address potential major accidents.

Safety Audits and Inspections:

The Candidate:
To be the right person for the Process Safety Specialist role you will require:
Experience operating and interfacing at a senior level on matters of process safety and COMAH, DSEAR, PSSR etc

(Essential) Recent experience as a Registered Manager for a care home, to have achieved positive inspection results (ratings “Good” and above) during this time(Essential) Experience managing care homes with 40+ bed capacity(Essential) Experience managing care homes with at least 50% private occupancy(Essential) Sound practical knowledge of elderly and dementia care(Desirable) Professional training as a Registered Nurse (RN Adult / RMN / RNLD)

**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**
As the Senior Night Nurse your key responsibilities include:
Assist the Home Manager in overseeing the nightly operations of the home
You will be part of a strong management team, working closely with our nurses and carers to provide a consistent service delivery that meets the needs of our residents
Focus will be on making sure we have the best nursing and clinical care provisions for our residents and you will actively contribute to clinical delivery
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Experience as a Senior Night Nurse, or a similar leadership role in the care sector
Good communication skills and can maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, internal as well as external professionals, families and visitors
Strong team player with good coaching and mentoring skills
Good clinical skills, with a focus on person-centred care
Enthusiasm and passion for developing high level of person-centred care
Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service
The successful Senior Night Nurse will receive an excellent salary up to £24.00 per hour and the annual salary is up to £59,904 per annum.
