The successful candidate will be responsible for handling asset management work, lease renewals, and general landlord and tenant advice. They should also be comfortable reviewing title documents in order to provide advice on a variety of commercial and residential matters.
ROLE: Commercial Property Lawyer – major projects
LOCATION: Oxford – remote
CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 months
RATE: £55-£60ph
Key Responsibilities
Handling asset management work (licences to assign etc.), lease renewals and general landlord and tenant advice
Reviewing title documents in order to provide advice on a variety of commercial and residential matters
Working closely with the Council’s Corporate Property team, as well as the Housing Strategy and Regeneration teams
Key Requirements
Qualified lawyer or experienced paralegal with previous experience of handling property work within a local government setting
Excellent knowledge of property law and related legislation
Ideally worked for a local authority previously
