ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:
The primary result expected from the Floating Night Shift Supervisor is to supervise the people at the facility and ensure the safe manufacture of products. This is done by organizing and executing the shift production work schedule (as dictated via the production plan), to maintain a safe, efficient and organized working environment, and to provide leadership/guidance to all shift personnel. This person will work in conjunction with both the 2nd shift and 3rd shift supervisors, when they are present and also cover either 2nd or 3rd shift, as needed when the supervisors are on vacation or call off sick.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ensures that all plant operations adhere to DayGlo business and RPM corporate EH&S requirements, procedures, reporting and programs. Direct and coordinate the activities of all employees on the shift, in all departments. Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. Ensure the planning and scheduling of orders for plant production to maximize use of manpower and fulfill customer service requirements. Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs. Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between plants. Confer with management and others to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances. Interpret specifications, work orders, and company policies and procedures for employees. Gathers information, completes, and distributes end of shift reports. Enforce work rules and administer discipline as required. Apply MS-168/Continuous Improvement principles to all aspects of the manufacturing process to drive improvement in production efficiency, product quality, and employee engagement. Ensure effective MS-168 Tier 1 meetings across departments. Ensure all departments are maintained in a clean, orderly and efficient fashion through utilization of 5S principles. Train, motivate, and manage the hourly production staff within the manufacturing process. Oversee performance skills matrix updates, initiates commendations, improvement plans and disciplinary action, as required. Work with/coordinates efforts between Quality Control, Engineering, R&D, and Maintenance departments for continual improvement of production efficiency and quality. Prepares and maintains accurate data reporting and analysis, as required, and provides management with appropriate information.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
3 - 5 years departmental/plant experience in a Chemical manufacturing environment, preferably with liquid tint dispersions. Must be a role model from an EH&S standpoint. Must possess proper supervisory skills to ensure all direct reports and efficiently together to achieve business goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure orders and shipping quantities match picking documents through careful audit of said documents. Work with Plant Operations, Customer Service and Purchasing to resolve allocation discrepancies. Help with or complete special projects at the discretion of the Distribution Services Manager. Ensure good security processes are followed with regard to the CTPAT (driver and visitor sign in). Answer/route all telephone calls in a polite manner, taking messages and routing to proper individual in a timely manner. Assists & evaluates needs with shipping points, services, weights & freight permits, and other information needed. Initiates, answers & documents tracer inquiries when requested via email and/or fax. Maintains shipping stations are in working order and stock with materials. Notifies consignee of shipment arrival and coordinates shipment information to other offices and/or agents. Arranges for movement of freight to consignee/agent & updates the system with information. Route Shuttle Drivers to maximize the efficiency of moving the Production stock to the DC. Processes necessary invoices to appropriate office for payment. Enter data pertaining to domestic and international shipments into the company's ERP system and into the shipping systems of commercial freight carriers. Monitor the supply of packaging materials and requisition additional supplies as required. Confirm physical shipment of goods and facilitate tracking of packages. Identify errors on packing lists & invoices and correct them. In conjunction with senior supervisor will be responsible for all outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations. Using ERP System, prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight. Ensure that drivers depart with appropriate paperwork. Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents by strict adherence to standard operating procedures. Gather, enter into warehouse management system and maintain all data and records relative to shipping and receiving activities. Complete necessary management reports as required. Responsible reporting Cycle Counts to Distribution Services Manager as required by identified Cycle Count Program. Act as back up to other functions as necessary. General Purpose of the Job:
Provides total support to the users of SAP application system and ancillary software tools, including package installation, configuration, enhancements & process improvements, problem resolution, training and education, report development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides overall direction in the implementation of new SAP modules and new releases of the SAP application software, as well as 3rd party software tools. Provides 2nd level help desk support. Trains and assists users in the use of SAP business application software. Prepares training materials, schedules and conducts application system training as needed. Audience may be other IT staff or end-user staff. Performs cost vs. benefit analysis to determine rational for application system development and enhancements. Acts as liaison to the software vendors and other users of the software. Is actively involved in software and/or functional user groups users. Performs systems analysis, design, configuration, and programming tasks related to enhancements, interfaces, data conversion and special reporting requirements, etc. Advises users as to the applicability of various alternatives to meet the specified requirements, such as: SAP baseline functionality & reporting, specialized configuration, extracts to PC-based analysis tools, custom report-writing and report development, complimentary software packages, and or changes to business processes. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and have a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects and due dates;

A CAD Design & Project Technician is required in an established Steel company based in Essex.
Job Details:
The company is looking for an experienced technician that can work with the team to create preliminary concept designs and take them through to final manufacturing detail and construction drawings.
The ideal candidate would be expected visit local sites to complete surveys with engineers, as such some site experience would be needed.
Previous experience in the structural steel manufacturing industry is a must.
Experience in the marine and port industry would also be a benefit, as would knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems.

Acts as a team leader, group leader or project coordinator to coordinate tasks related to a specific initiative or project that fall under the scope of this position. Project management activities include: planning, resource allocation, milestone tracking, coordinating with various stakeholders. Trains and assists users in the use of SAP business application software. Prepares training materials, schedules and conducts application system training as needed. Audience may be other IT staff or end-user staff.
Extracts to PC-based analysis tools, custom report-writing and report development, complimentary software packages, and or changes to business processes.
Works directly with the FICO Global Lead to evaluate proposed changes on the rest of the organization and to coordinate resources required to support the implantation of process improvements and or new technologies.
Additional Job Functions: (Other Less Critical Job Activities) Project management task and administration. Maintains work plans, tracks effort and progress vs. plan for small to medium scale project, and provides appropriate status information regarding projects. Coordinates / directs the activities of project teams to accomplish the goals of a project. Team members may be other IT staff, as well as end-user staff.
Supervises contract consultants, programmers, and part-time clerical assistance, as needed.
Technical. Provides secondary support for the technical hardware and communications platforms used to support application systems: would include log in's, printing, security, etc. Would act as a liaison between end-users and the IT technical group.

Education and/or Experience:
Formal Education Required: College or University degree in finance is preferred CPA would be an asset SAP Certification in related discipline or equivalent training
Practical Work Experience Required:
3-5+ years of leadership experience: manager, supervisor, group lead, etc. 5+ years experience in a SR Accounting Role 7 - 10 Years SAP implementation experience preferred In-depth experience with SAP S/4 HANA 3+ Years SAP Super User in related discipline. Strong customer service skills and orientation. High degree of flexibility in interface with customers / constituents. 2 years experience in project management skills. Ability to distinguish, learn and accept differences in business and end-user requirements. Ability to learn and expand technical knowledge and interpersonal skills. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
SAP or other Certifications would be an asset.
Other Qualifications:
Experience in financial accounting and US GAAP and SOX control requirements. In-depth experience with both costing-based and account-based COPA. A working knowledge of RAR would be an asset.
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $99,000 and $124,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
