There will be opportunities for some level of flexibility with working hours if required, with the role being office based from the Project offices situated near Leeds, West Yorkshire.
The main duties of the Design Engineer will be to liaise with clients to draft piping diagrams as required whilst producing detailed manufacturing drawings. The Design Engineer will also be expected to use quotations, client data sheets and calculations to create general arrangement drawings for approval. This position is a permanent role with a UK based EPCM company specialising in the installation and commissioning of manufacturing plants / equipment within the chemical, water and gas sectors.
Responsibilities of the Design Engineer;
Producing detailed general arrangement and fabrication drawings for piping diagrams.
Liaising with clients to ascertain their requirements and maintain dialogue during the process to resolve technical issues.
Managing the process from inception until drawing approval and the handover of drawings to the fabrication team.
Dealing with technical queries from the shop floor.
Occasional site visits, including measuring up and site assessment.

Our client seeks a Test Development Engineer who is very much a doer as a primary and a strong Test Technician as a secondary. You will be mentored and supported by the Engineering Manager
The Test Development Engineer will be an experienced hands-on individual who has sound test knowledge and capability with a background in defence, aviation, aerospace, or military would be ideal.
Responsibilities for the Test Development Engineer:
- Conduct Valve Development testing under the supervision and mentoring of R&D technicians, design engineers and the Engineering Manager, applying sound engineering practices in a timeframe consistent with business objectives.
- Design qualification test parameters for the validation of new products in accordance with project objectives and milestones.
- Apply relevant engineering standards, legislation, certification, and customer compliance ensuring comprehensive validation and reporting is delivered.
- Compile test reports as required for documenting design validation compliance and maintaining comprehensive traceability.
- Conduct concurrent engineering tasks optimising designs for manufacturing methodology, assembly, and testing processes.
- Develop test equipment capabilities and continuous improvement in data acquisition software/hardware and pressure/flow mechanical equipment.
- Conduct VAVE tasks to derivative and existing products, ensuring manufacturing costs are minimised and cost targets are achieved working coherently with production Engineers.
Experience required for the Test Development Engineer:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Demonstrable key skills in and knowledge around materials, stress analysis, and practical mechanical assembly.
- Practical skills and good working knowledge of precision manufacturing, CNC lathes, milling, and general Fabrication.
- Experience or knowledge of engineering software, 2D and 3D CAD, FEA, CFD, Mathcad, and MS Office, preferably using Autodesk platforms (AutoCAD, Inventor, ANSYS).
- Professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational skills as the role will involve working on various projects simultaneously, including coordinating with other project team members, liaising with manufacturing and sales departments, reviewing progress as well as evaluating results.
- Commitment to work to deadlines and determination to see a job through to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Knowledge of high-pressure valves for Nuclear, Oil, Gas and Space.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering and solenoid design.

We are looking for a LPG Terminal and Gas Production Manager to work on a permanent basis in Jersey.
**Position Summary:**We are currently seeking an experienced LPG Terminal and Gas Production Manager to oversee all production staff, technicians, plant fitters, and the monitoring, inspection, and maintenance of LPG/Air production plants, LPG bulk storage plant, and relevant equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure safe control of activities while maximizing operational efficiency and performance of the site, including LPG liquid transfer pipeline and Jetty assets.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage and lead a team in line with company core behaviors.- Maintain stock control with a minimum of 10 days stock and accurate bulk LPG import requests.- Supervise PSSR inspections, road tanker loading, and ship discharges.- Engage with stakeholders including regulatory inspectors, insurers, and other relevant parties.- Optimize operational performance and efficiency of LPG/Air Production operations and processes.- Act as site controller for Lower/Upper-Tier COMAH sites.- Ensure safe working practices, develop procedures, and manage maintenance tasks through Pirana CMMS.- Support company objectives by accurately capturing and reporting data to key stakeholders.- Manage operational activities within agreed budgets and attend financial reviews to report exceptions and provide solutions.- Plan and resource ship discharge operations for split shift manning.- Attend and contribute to Leadership Team meetings.- Develop individual performance reviews and identify training needs for staff development.- Recruit, train, and motivate staff to maintain high standards of performance.
**Management of Staff:**
- Ensure appropriate deployment of resources for safe and efficient operations and maintenance.- Manage daily operations of Plant Operatives and Technicians, including duty rota provision and ship discharge resourcing.- Provide leadership during CAPEX Project delivery and safety briefs/toolbox talks.- Monitor and control contractors on-site and deliver agreed objectives.
**Service Delivery:**
- Identify training needs for staff competency maintenance.- Achieve key objectives set by the LPG Operations Manager and manage budget performance.
**Key Working Relationships:**
- Collaborate with internal teams including LPG Operations Manager, Asset Manager, Asset Integrity Manager, H&S Engineer, EC&I Technician, and site operational team.
**Minimum Requirements:**
- 5+ years technical experience in LPG/Oil/Gas Industry or High Hazard Industry.- Over 5 years professional experience in engineering and asset maintenance.- ONC (Minimum) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.- Experience working on COMAH Sites and leading operational teams.
**Desirable Skills:**
