MediTalent are recruiting on behalf of a state of the art, private hospital in Gloucester for a Newly Qualified Nurse. Within this role you will be supported from day one by a highly skilled management team who will provide you with excellent training to support you in your new nursing role.
Within the role you will be supporting patients who require Dialysis treatment. Full training will be given within Renal Nursing, and you will undertake an advanced training plan before treating patients. Within this role you will be making a difference to patients’ lives and work within in a unit that treats regular patients.
The right candidate must have:
NMC/HCPC qualified or awaiting your NMC Pin
You will be a strong communicator
Able to work autonomously and working within a team
Duties involve:
Adapting to renal training and being open to collating new skills
Maintaining the patient’s privacy
Be able to manage the care plans of your regular patients and ensure the care provided is of the highest standard

Help ensure that the accommodation for residents, including catering, maintenance, and cleanliness is of a high standard.
Carry out the comprehensive inductions of nurses.
Undertake screening, triage/initial and comprehensive assessments and risk management plans of clients.
What we're looking for...
A current, UK recognised nursing qualification - RMN, RGN, CPN or equivalent.
Registered Nurse Mental Health or Registered Nurse General (NMC Registration and active PIN).
Demonstrable experience of delivering clinical interventions in the substance misuse field within a clear philosophical/theoretical framework.
Experience of supervising the clinical casework of professionally qualified staff working in the alcohol and drug field.

As a Care Supervisor your key duties include:
Take responsibility for the safe and effective running of the day and night care services and new admissions
Ensure that high standards of care are delivered to meet the needs of the individual resident and to monitor and maintain these standards
To teach and lead by example, new and inexperienced staff members in all aspects of their work in the home
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Prior experience of managing staff in a care home or similar
An advanced knowledge of Medication management
Ability to develop and manage staff rotas
An understanding of person centered-care
Strong communication and organisational skills
