The Test Technician – Electronics based in Portchester will be working as part of the Test department assessing, testing and fault-finding microelectronic circuits, ensuring all test work is performed correctly, to the correct standards and within a timely manner mainly using Automatic Test Equipment
Specific Duties for The Test Technician – Electronics based in Portchester, Hampshire :
Set up Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) station
Testing micro electronic circuits using Automatic Test Equipment to ensure the functionality and reliability of electronic components
Testing and fault-finding on non-functioning printed circuit boards and electronic modules/components to identify issue and repair if appropriate
Work independently to complete functional tests of micro electronic circuits to specification
Maintain Test Program and Burn-in database log
Ensure test results are reported as required by internal and external standards
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities for the Test Technician – Electronics based in Portchester, Hampshire:
Ability to test, fault-find and repair efficiently and accurately
Experience of testing and fault-finding electronic circuits
Working knowledge of and experience of using test equipment (Power supplies, Voltmeters, Oscilloscopes, function generators)

As a Senior Development Engineer, you will be working on highly complex medical devices, and manage pilot-to-production programmes.
Within this vital role for the company, you will be responsible for the optimisation of the production and test processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective manufacturing of products that combine electronics and micro components. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, developing equipment, implementing process improvements, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
