The Role:
As the Electrical Design Engineer you will be primarily responsible for designing all electrical systems for Packaging Automation’s equipment in accordance with customer requirements and current safety, legislative and directive guidelines.
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
- Ensure the accurate and timely production of electrical circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and cubicle layout drawings in accordance with the customer requirements.
- Process electrical engineering design changes
- Liaise with the Mechanical Design Engineers to ensure that the machine design is electrically and mechanically compatible.
- Liaise with shop floor to relay accurate machine build information.
- Prove the machine after manufacture, prior to delivery on customer site rectifying any design / programme faults where necessary.

- Report your findings and progress to the Systems Manager/ Projects Manager / Service Office and Design as appropriate.
