Material Handler | Oxford | Competitive Salary
Blackfield Associates are recruiting for a Material Handler, to join a leading injection moulding organisation in Oxford, on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Shift Manager the Material Handler will be responsible for the handling and control of all raw equipment. One of the core functions of the role will be to check materials, preparing them for use and ensuring they are ready for production.
The Material Handler is responsible for management of raw materials ensuring they are issued correctly. The material Handler will have strong organisation with a working understanding of medical device requirements. This role involves assisting with continuous improvement and following 5S to allow the business to continue to run efficiently.
To be considered for the role, candidates would need to have a minimum a years’ experience in a similar role. Previous experience working in a cGMP or ISO 13485 regulated environment, would be advantageous.

Every day you will work alongside a hardworking and fast-paced team to select orders from the warehouse floor and place them on the correct pallet. To thrive you must be prepared to lift packages of 50 pounds repeatedly and always think safety first. You’ll be someone your team can rely on to make sure our orders are right before they’re in route to our customers. DUTIES INCLUDED for the role of FLT Driver :

KEEN to hear from FLT Drivers :
Experience of working in a Stores/Warehouse environment or as a Materials Handler.
Counterbalance forklift truck licence and a full UK driving licence.
Basic computer skills would be an advantage.
