My client develops manufacturing solutions for their chosen niche industry. They are currently looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their Engineering and Production service Team. Other suitable job titles could include Manufacturing Process Engineer, NPI Engineer, Manufacturing Systems Engineer and Production Engineer.

The Role of Manufacturing Process Engineer:
- Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities
- Evaluate current production activities recommending and implementing improvements
- Prepare and update Work Instructions for all manufacturing processes
- Create, update and maintain accurate BOMs
- Establish manufacturing methods for new and development vehicles
- Conduct and maintain updates of all manufacturing process risk assessments
- NPI coordination, material suppliers and process methods
- Raise and process ECNs
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with H&S requirements
Experience Required - Process Engineer:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer / Production Engineer in a leading-edge manufacturing industry
- Process Instruction creation
- Document Control
- BOM Generation
- MRP experience (Sage preferred)
- Lean Manufacturing methodology
- Familiar with PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC
- Firm understanding of VSM
- Familiar with ISO9001 standards
- HSE and COSHH regulations

The successful candidate for the Production Engineer job, Hertfordshire will have a strong background in SMT, PCB and Final Product Assembly processes and techniques, have a good knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques including, OPF, Lean and 5S, have a relevant degree or equivalent qualifications and also a strong working knowledge of electronic assembly and processes, including IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.

OUTSIDE IR35 / Can use Limited Company. The successful Design Engineer will be engaged on a contract for 12 months. They will receive an early finish on a Friday, around 1.30pm. There will be opportunities for some level of flexibility with working hours if required, with the role being office based from the Project offices situated near Leeds, West Yorkshire.
The main duties of the Design Engineer will be to liaise with clients to draft piping diagrams as required whilst producing detailed manufacturing drawings. The Design Engineer will also be expected to use quotations, client data sheets and calculations to create general arrangement drawings for approval. This position is a permanent role with a UK based EPCM company specialising in the installation and commissioning of manufacturing plants / equipment within the chemical, water and gas sectors.
Responsibilities of the Design Engineer;
Producing detailed general arrangement and fabrication drawings for piping diagrams.
Liaising with clients to ascertain their requirements and maintain dialogue during the process to resolve technical issues.
Managing the process from inception until drawing approval and the handover of drawings to the fabrication team.
Dealing with technical queries from the shop floor.

Troubleshoot breakdowns and failures to minimize production downtime
Adjust and optimize electrical bias settings to improve machine performance
Use testing tools to analyze values like voltage, amperage, resistance, and PPM
Identify opportunities to enhance equipment operation through electrical bias adjustments
Maintain detailed logs of maintenance and repairs performed
Ensure all work meets safety and production protocols
