Our client is a well-established, growing charity retailer. They currently have an exciting opportunity to join them in the position of Part Time Deputy Store Manager to manage their store in East Sheen.
As the Deputy Shop Manager your primary responsibility is to maximise income generation and ensure all targets are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities:
You will work closely with the Senior Shop Manager and Area Manager so they can understand your stock requirements and be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and health & safety of the shop.
Responsible for the smooth running of the store in accordance with company guidelines
Deliver annual store financial and contribution targets.
Deliver against store KPI’s.
Lead and develop your team.
Recruitment and selection of new team members.
Visual merchandising the store, maximising all opportunities.
Driving new business into the store.
Liaising with the local community.
Recruiting volunteers for the store.
Experience required:
Previous Store Manager/Assistant Manager/Supervisor experience within charity or retail.
Have the ability to engage customers through outstanding communication, questioning and listening skills.
KPI aware and driven.
Experience of working to targets in a customer focused environment.
Energy, drive and a positive can-do attitude.
Flexible to cover store opening hours and weekends.
Proven track record of successful delivery of a high growth, profitable operation.
Experience in managing a large team of volunteers, including recruitment and development, as well as excellent customer service and supporter relationship building skills.
An understanding of charity retail would be a distinct advantage and a passion for the charity sector.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment with oversight of both raw materials and finished goods.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience using enterprise software such as SAP is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Main Responsibilities:
As part of your apprenticeship, you will learn and develop your skills and knowledge to fulfil the line technician responsibilities as below:
To develop an excellent working knowledge of all Crowcon products
Provide first line technical support for all product ranges to triage and repair down to component level
The ability to triage and repair to component level
Creation of reports relating to product / process issues
Maintain and commission assembly and test equipment
Identify areas for continuous improvement and contribute to implementation of solutions
Support the implementation of new processes into manufacturing
Carry out maintenance schedules
Responsibility of safe working practices in accordance with health and safety policies
Training:Duration:
13 months practical training period, plus 3 months for End Point Assessment
Delivery model:
Work-based training with your employer
Day release during term time (approximately 2 days a week for 1 year)
Approximately 12 on-site assessment visits per year
Off the job training will count for at least 6 hours a week of an apprentice’s time at work
Qualifications included:
Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Operations (Skills)
Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Operations (Knowledge)
Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship

As a Production Technician your responsibilities will be:
