The successful commercial litigation paralegal will join the highly successful litigation and dispute resolution department and be responsible for running their own caseload and assisting on complex matters. Within this exciting, fee earning role, you will be required to provide clients with advice from instruction to hearing/settlement and correspond with debtors and third parties.
Duties will include:
Drafting and submitting claim forms and winding up/bankruptcy petitions
Drafting pleadings and witness statements for the county court ensuring all are prepared as soon in advance as possible.
A key aspect of the role is to liaise with Court prior to trials to ensure necessary paperwork is sent and received and follow up on late/lost paperwork

The role would suit a Serious Injury Solicitor with upwards of 2 years' PQE handling brain and spinal injury claims ideally within a claimant environment, though candidates with only defendant serious injury experience are still encouraged to apply.
The team are responsible for handling serious injury cases to include brain and spinal injuries and CICA claims. The successful candidate will handle their own caseload of high value multi track cases, dealing with cases from the point of instruction through to trial and/ or settlement. Responsibilities include:
Reviewing medical records and evidence and providing expert legal advice to clients.
Corresponding with clients, defendants Solicitors and third parties.
Issuing proceedings, drafting applications, court documentation, witness statements and responses.
