Systems Team Lead required to play a critical role in managing and optimizing our infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of performance, reliability, and scalability. What You Will Be Doing
Lead a team of systems engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to drive excellence in performance and service delivery.
Design, implement, and manage Linux-based infrastructure to support critical network operations, including servers, storage systems, and networking components.
Architect XCP-ng and VMware virtualization solutions to optimize resource utilization, performance, and scalability.
Develop and implement and automation framework using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to streamline system provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes. Experience with CFEngine will be a plus. The main goal is to improve operation efficiency and to ensure alignment to configuration standards and security policies.
Design and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) templates to automate the deployment and configuration of virtualized environments.
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements, and drive initiatives to automate repetitive tasks and workflows.
Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability using monitoring tools such as Observium, ElasticSearch. TIG stack and Graylog.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as PCI DSS, GDPR, and HIPAA, as applicable to system administration and security practices.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits, and implement remediation measures to address identified risks and vulnerabilities.
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering, with expertise in Linux administration, VMware virtualization, and automation.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu) and experience with system administration tasks such as package management, filesystems, and networking.
Proficiency in VMware vSphere/vCenter and XCP-ng administration, including VM deployment, resource management, and high availability configurations.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as CFEngine and Ansible, Puppet, Chef or Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and orchestration.
Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python, PowerShell) for automation and task automation.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.
Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
Certifications such as RHCE, VCP, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are preferred.

I&C engineer and supported by I&C technician team. Responsible for the design and review of all I&C equipment and instruments for the Plant. Explore solutions to production problems or improve efficiency with maintenance and operators. Run experiments and tests to aid in the development of improved manufacturing procedures and processes, and become familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures. Work and coordinate activities with the other engineering disciplines, Process, Project and Environmental. Prepare, review and/or approve of instrument specification data sheets and submit purchase requisitions for approval. Prepare equipment lists, instrument index, I/O lists. Review process flow diagrams and piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs). Meet with plant technical staff to discuss technical information and features. Ensure drawings, specifications, reports, and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements. Participate in failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) and Process Hazard analysis (PHA) to consider equipment, personnel, and environmental safety. Knowledge of capital approval process and project justification required. Be involved in the design and development of equipment and work procedures. Be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating process hazard analysis. Ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines. Takes responsibility for I&C Engineering Change Management system. Coordinate and approve all sample submissions of new products and engineering changes through the Product Development Program. Assists in identifying the root causes of a problem and instituting corrective action such as changes to batch sheets, generation of Engineering Change Requests, changes in workstations, changes to inspection analyses and changes to process procedures. Provide recommendations to improve procedures that apply to quality and operations functions. Review quality trends based on quality data system information and interaction with production personnel and participate in the generation and implementation of defect-reduction programs. Review all design drawings and changes, process procedures, test procedures, procurement documents, and inspection analyses to ensure that the divisions and customers quality requirements are met on assigned products, programs, areas, and functions. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
B.S. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Preferred, 2+ years working in a Manufacturing environment, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Electrical Schematic and panel layout design using CAD (preferably AutoCAD Electrical) experience. Experience in the design of programmable logic controllers (PLC) or distributed control system (DCS) based controls systems. Expertise in National Electrical Code requirements in industrial facilities and hazardous locations. Proven understanding of integrating instrumentation with data acquisition hardware. Proficiency with electrical diagnostic equipment. Familiar with industrial sensors and actuators; pressure, temperature, accelerometers, motor controllers, flow meters, relays, strain gauges, valves, and pumps. Strong technical and non-technical writing and verbal skills Able to work in the United States without sponsorship. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and/or scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
